Robin McElveen/Melody Kittles

Melody Kittles is a fantasy fiction author writing under the name Robin McElveen. Often described as crazy, quirky, eccentric, and just plain weird, she counts these labels an honor and wears them proudly.



The Children of Y'Dahnndrya series began as an idea adrift on a foggy sea of homeschool busyness in October of 2016. Nanowrimo was a new idea she wanted to use to encourage her girls to write more and have fun doing it. She joined in whole-heartedly and ended up having more fun than her girls! And so the very raw product, Ripples, was revised and refined, until at last it began to take shape as her first true novel. It took two years, but she can finally say with pride, "I'm a published author!" 



During the year 1983, Melody met the most important person in her life. His name is Yeshua (Jesus) and He has been her constant Guide and Companion ever since. She'd say she goes her own way, but perhaps that's not entirely accurate. She hopes to go in the direction He points her. Sometimes she trips and falls along the way, but she picks herself up every day and continues on. You may catch a glimpse of her faith in her writing, though it most certainly fiction literature.
