"The unexamined life is not worth living."
-- Socrates

I manage a software company that develops a popular terrain modeler, but writing has been a passion of mine since the mid 1990s. I write sci-fi and fantasy, and my books are normally available on Amazon in both paperback and for Kindle. My favorite authors (and influences) include Robert Silverberg, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Dean Koontz, Philip K. Dick, Arthur C. Clarke, Anne Rice, Ira Levin, and fellow Canadians Margaret Atwood and Robert Sawyer.

Readers face endless distractions in today's world, so I give writing my all. In order of increasing importance, I strive to entertain, to educate, and to inspire. I always begin with the question, When's the last time you read anything interesting?
