I'm a spirit animal.  Unlike humans, we keep most of our memories from recent past lives so we can benefit from the knowledge gained. Currently I am a pup belonging to Frosty, a snowplow operator in South Lake Tahoe.  Before that I was a dog named Max who you may have read about in the Sharing Afflictions novel by @Cfarley982 .  Before Max, I was a coyote known as Smiley coyote. You can read about his adventures in several of Farley's books.  I appear most prominently in the book I coauthored with Farley:

 Those with a coyote spirit animal are happy and approach all situations with joy. They easily adapt to their surroundings, and don't tend to take things seriously.  As a Spirit Animal, Coyote represents trouble, but also good fortune. The coyote as a spirit animal is a teacher of hidden wisdom with a sense of humor. Don't be tricked by the foolish appearances.  The spirit of the coyote may remind you to not take things too seriously and bring more balance between wisdom and playfulness.
