The Author Yani is a young, African American, gifted, female writer from inner city Philadelphia. Writing isn't what she does, it's who she is.

Nick named "The Literary Goddess" by her peers, Yani has made it a point to perfect her craft with each novel she has released. Starting with Amazon's Best Selling Urban Fiction novel A Thug's Redemption, which was written when Yani was just 15 years old, readers and reviewers have all agreed that Yani's style of writing and her ability to tell a compelling story while keeping readers hooked and yearning for more has advanced and progressed over the last year since its debut under Anitbeet Productions.

At the request of many readers, Yani released the sequel A Thug's Redemption 2: Jamal's Return, which also climbed onto Amazon's Best Seller's list for Urban Fiction. It was given positive reviews from readers all agreeing that this sequel, unlike many, had surpassed its original and was by far, bigger and better.

Not wanting to leave readers hanging after the breath taking ending to A Thug's Redemption 2: Jamal's Return, Yani penned her third novel, A Thug's Redemption 3: The Wrath of Andre, the finale to the series, which also climbed to Amazon's Best Seller's list.

Yani's latest novel was an experiment to see if she has what it takes to step out of her Urban Fiction comfort zone. Obsessive Intimacies, an erotic thriller, was started when Yani was 18 years old. But being young and inexperienced,Yani decided to hold off on its completion. Eleven years later, after experiencing a lot of what life has to offer; joy, pain, heart-ache and disappointment, Yani penned her fourth novel and released it February 14th, 2014. In just two short weeks, Obsessive Intimacies climbed to #33 in Romance on Amazon's Best Seller's list. It quickly sparked a flame and generated more readers being deemed Yani's best novel yet.

Yani is currently a college student in pursuit of her BSN in Nursing.
