Hello, Writers.
          
          I have come today with potentially sad news.  Only potentially because it depends how much you care for this account.
          
          I know we just finished a contest, but sadly, we are bringing this account to a close. 
          
          I love this account, and I still adore what it stands for, but it's been clear to anyone paying attention: this account hasn't been getting as much as it deserves.  When it first started, we had 4/5 admins who were actively able to participate in the account.
          
          Over time, everyone has gotten busy, to the point it's only been one admin trying to keep this account running.  I blame nobody for this but life, which just requires a lot of time that people were not able to put into this account like they were once able to.
          
          I feel so bad constantly trying to get this account running again just to stumble to a stop after a little bit of success.  So, it's official.  This account is being marked as inactive.  It won't be continuing on with any of its books or anymore contests.
          
          It makes me genuinely sad because this was my precious project for so long, but it's for the best.  
          
          I still will have an account going that is meant for helping people over at DreamlandCommunity if you're interested.  The books we already have up will stay up to provide the little bit of help they can.  Our admins have their own books on their accounts that can help people with varying things.  
          
          I hope this account has done it's job of helping writers.  I know it's had a large part helping me, even if only by helping me meet so many amazing people.
          
          Hope to see you guys around on Wattpad still, however that may be.  And wish I could somehow put into words just how much I loved and am going to miss this account.

Hello there, Writers! 
          
          Today, 21 years ago, something very special happened: a graphic queen -- no, a graphic empress was born! 
          
          That's right, everyone, let's give a huge Happy Birthday to none other than @StormRidden, one of our very precious admins. 
          
          If you want to help her celebrate, you have multiple ways. Go to her profile and wish her a happy birthday, check out her graphics and remind her how amazing they are, or, quite possibly the best option, check out her fabulous stories. 
          
          For anyone interested in following the Open Novella Contest, she has an entry for the Gods of Death prompt, Empty Chains. I still need to check it out, but my friends who have read it love it. 
          
          And speaking of chains, that brings us to the other book that is very precious to her heart. Goddess of Death and Destruction Iridian has just recently escaped her chains to find a devastated, post-apocalyptic world. If she wishes to save the planet, she must find her soul mate locked away all the way across the dangerous world. With her powers weakened and dangers around every turn, Iridian is gonna have a heck of a time reaching her other half. If she even does.  Definitely check it out if you likes gods, destroyed worlds, snarky protagonists who can kill with ease, and perhaps a journey to realizing not all humanity needs to be hated. 
          
          So yeah, go help StormRidden feel as wonderful as she should for her birthday :)

          The time for the Winter Wonder War results draws nearer and nearer, and while you wait, we have a couple of books to keep your eyes on. 
          
          Writers' Table just updated with its second topic, Characters! We can't wait to see your responses! 
          
          Writers' Help also just updated with another genre account, @TheFaeFolk. Be sure to check it out, especially if you're a fantasy writer. We also are currently working toward some advice articles from some big name writers, articles which will be put up in the same book. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for those ;)

Our revamp is looking beautiful!

And the official re-vamp has begun! Say hello to The-Writers-Corner reborn! 
          
          New graphics. New books. Not new faces, but that's because we all know you adore the ones we already have ;) 
          
          Speaking of those new books, let's talk about them! 
          
          We are kicking the rebirth off with another small, very controlled contest: Winter Wonder War. Only 3 categories filled with a variety of genres, so you best be prepared to face off against an abundance of competition, especially with the selective system we've got going on for it ;) 
          
          Writers' Help has been changed to Writers' Workshop because, well, we had some issues where many of the original graphics were lost, making it impossible to change names, but dang nab it, we did not want to lose that fabulous cover. And I say it fits since our intent is to give you tools to better your writing ;)
          
          Now we have another book called Writers' Help, our own personal Wattpad guide. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on that book as the days go on. 
          
          Our final new addition is Writers' Table, a place to gather and have nice, civil discussions with your fellow writers on a variety of writer topics. 
          
          I hope you all enjoy our new books, and we plan on updating our old ones before too long.  We are excited to be back, and I hope you're as excited to have us :)

          What… What is this?  Is this life? Wow… Yeah, I know, I’m as shocked as you are.  This as of now dead account suddenly coming back to life? Insanity!
          
          Okay, now for extreme honesty time.  This account has been pretty dead for two reasons:
          
          1 - All admins have been busy.
          
          2 - The last contest did not go as planned.  Many of us got swept up in life. Like, some real time consuming life stuff.  Many of our judges didn’t fulfill all of their rewards for the contests. I tried hounding, but we took longer than we should have and it put them into school and, as someone suffering from college, I understand the struggle, and I just felt terrible hounding people.  So, the rewards for the last contest were, for the most part, a bust. 
          
          I couldn’t get on the account because I felt such immense guilt every time I did because of this failing on our part in our last award.  I wanted to really give something to the winners of the contest. Instead, I think I put too much on people to ever complete. Because of that, a lot was promised that was never delivered.
          
          And because of that, I ask you to forgive me.  There is nothing more I can do for it now, though, but move on, and hope from the bottom of my heart that you guys can forgive us for a half flopped contest in terms of rewards.  If we ever do another one again, I also ask you somehow trust us again, because so much was learned from the last contest. Such as how to make sure it actually doesn’t go into school next time…
          
          With that explained, I want to revamp the account.  Details on how will come later. Keep your eyes out for that.  Again, I hope you guys have stuck with us through this bump in our account, and I hope we can continue onward to all growing as writers.
