I have been interested in writing my own stories and publishing them ever since age twelve when I saw a book in the library that was written by a girl the same age as me in 2013
My younger brother is autistic and can't really put his ideas into words that would suffice as a story. When I asked him to help with planning a story I was absolutely amazed at what he said! He planned a whole story in half and hour. It would take me weeks to get a vivid story plan and even then his ideas were more appealing and imaginative than mine.
My brother and I have made a deal. If he verbally plans a story (characters, plot, setting ect.) while I record it than I will write the story out, making sure that it sticks to his ideas. This is why I decided to call my Wattpad profile 'TheChicagoTeam', because I cannot take full credit of the stories I write. Even though for some stories I might have been the one who first thought of the idea or who thought of general character ideas my brother does the majority of the planning and therefore is also the author.
