Recommendation of the day!
          
          There's a lot going on in 'Tell Them This When I Die' by @tarishannon18. Star police detective Adam is working his hardest to arrest the risk-loving, definitely-not-a-criminal-mastermind nightclub owner Eris, but he doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. Their cat-and-mouse game increasingly begins to take a toll on their lives and it may only be a matter of time before people start falling apart. But who will make it out of this treacherous web of crime unscathed?
          
          'Tell Them This When I Die' is a suspenseful, impeccably written and even darkly funny crime story that never once loses steam. Its intriguing and well-thought out plot, as well as well as its characters (flawed, memorable, complex!), deserve a lot of love! Go give it a read!

The ONC shortlist is out and 'Baguette Rhymes with Dead' is still on it! So happy about that! Congrats to all who made it, though I was disappointed to see some really awesome entries go :'( Be proud of the stories you all wrote, though, and good luck to all those left in the race!

          There's so much to appreciate in this story, like the engaging mystery-in-progress, the original podcast format, the sweet queer romance in the background and touching themes about friendship and conquering anxiety.           The first chapter to  #FreakshowFriday', #WitchcraftWednesday's sequel, is up! Hopefully you'll give it a chance and you'll enjoy reading it as much as I'm enjoying the writing.

Des is determined to get kicked out of Melliford Academy as fast as possible, but getting paired up for a project with teacher's pet Exie isn't exactly conducive to that goal. On top of that, Melliford Academy's teachers may be hiding serious secrets and a student is soon found dead...
          
          This is a paranormal mystery with queer romance, dark academia vibes and an absolutely hilarious main character. Give it a read!

          'The Escaped Con's Hostage' by @annkreeves follows Nataly Collins, a young woman who decides to run away from her controlling stepfather together with her little sister. All seems to be going 'smoothly'... until the girls end up as an escaped convict's hostages. But there may be more to the criminal than meets the eye, and there may be some pesky feelings coming into play.
          
          This is an exciting and fast-paced story which runs with the 'Wattpad bad boy' concept in all the best ways possible! And I don't say that lightly, as this isn't quite the genre I usually read. But the writing, the characters and their dynamics make this tale so worth the read, so don't miss it!

Recommendation of the day!
          
          'Sangre de Toro' by @hrb264 is a pretty damn unique story on Wattpad, with one reason being that one of its main characters is a bull. Pepelito escapes from a Spanish bullfight and ends up in the care of homicide detective Rita Silvera. But the matador who was set to kill Pepelito won't let him get away that easily... and then we haven't even touched upon the ongoing serial killer investigation yet!
          
          Part thriller and part social commentary, this is a refreshing and interesting book that also aims to raise awareness of the horrors and abuses involved in the bullfighting world. Give it a chance!
