thank you so much for voting for GASLIGHTER ❤️

@violadavis Great, thank you! Take all the time you need. Your well-being and that you're satisfied with what you write is what matters. Have a great day or good night!

@katrin_writes thank you! I'm aiming for 40 chapters total (and you'll see me repeatedly mention it's not an easy book to write because of the mental headspace I need to put myself in to write it so updates sometimes aren't regular, but the goal is to update weekly every friday)

@violadavis You're welcome. I vote on everything I read to support authors.
How far along into the book are we with the latest update? (Obviously I'm not there yet and I will read in order, don't worry, just curious.)

The Wattys Bootcamp is officially over!

Check out the mentee showcases (logline, blurb, and first 1000 words of each story). There's a good chance you'll find your next read among them!

The Bootcamp was intense (*cough* thanks to my suboptimal time management). What I Should Have Done was not unedited, but it felt like it. Through the program, though, I learned a LOT about my writing style and choices that I can make in editing -- and I'm so proud of the result!

A huge thanks goes out to my mentor @nicolenorthwood for being so encouraging and supportive and patient. The space and advice you gave me were exactly what I needed.

And finally: if you're thinking about doing NaNoWriMo this year, check out the activities the Bootcamp Mentors and Pretty in Punk have planned. It's all in the book below.

          Until next time,
          Katrin
