Hey friends! Just wanted to let you all know I will be removing my story "drown" from Wattpad in the next week. I've decided to self-publish and so the story will be available for purchase through Amazon. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read the draft I had on here. I really appreciate the support.

OMG!!! I finished Hamilton: The-Not-So-Micro-Pig!!! All chapters are up now!

The project is done, however, I don't wanna mark it "complete" until I go back, read it all and make some edits. I don't plan on any big changes. I just wanna double check spelling, grammar and make sure everything makes sense. Other than that, the story is done. Enjoy!

Yikes... It's been a rough couple of weeks when it came to finding my motivation to write, but I did. I started work on another episode of my Hamilton Pig story, which I will be posting soon. While I was writing, I decided yet again, to make an adjustment to my planned parts. I've chosen to split the part I'm currently working on into two parts to keep the episodes on the shorter end. I think that's important, being that this is a children's story and all.

I think it's moving along well and the story is shaping up. I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to figure out the loose ends I have laid out and how I'm going to tie everything back together. It's exciting, especially considering that this project is something I consider completely out of my element. I'm also just really happy with how quickly it's going and I'm hoping I can find the drive to finish the initial draft before the end of the summer (i.e. September).

Despited my initial optimism about not slowing down with my writing, unfortunately, I've slowed down this week. I spend the last weekend finishing up another personal project and then, shortly after my WiFi went out. I don't know if it was a lack of internet or what, but I started to feel really burnt out and so I've just been taking the rest of this week to relax. Hopefully, I'll find some motivation again. Sooner than later.

Happy 4th of July -- even if you're not in the US. Always a good day to wish each other well.

Anyway, I posted a new chapter of Hamilton: The-Not-So-Micro-Pig. The new chapter is on the longer side compared to the previous chapters of the project, so enjoy. Currently, I'm juggling multiple personal projects so my writing MIGHT be slowing down, but I don't expect it to, but if it does, that's why.

Posted a new chapter of Hamilton: The-Not-So-Micro-Pig.

With the writing of this episode, I decided to make some adjustments to my planned parts. Rather than 15 (plus prologue and epilogue) as I previously mentioned, there's now a planned 16. The reason for this is because I wanted to keep the chapters short and bite sized, as it's a children's novel, so I wanted it to be quick and easily read.

Anyway, I'm making some really good progress, so I'm hoping to finish this project within the next couple weeks and hopefully have it edited and "completed" before the end of July. Wish me luck.

Made some very minor changes to Episode 8 of the Hamilton: The-Not-So-Micro Pig story. Nothing major. Just added a couple sentences of detail.

I spent some time today working out an outline to the rest of the project and have figured out that there will be 15 parts to this project (plus a prologue and epilogue, so technically 17 parts). I've been on a productivity kick lately, so my aim is to work on it a little bit everyday and, hopefully, have it finished within the next three weeks.

I think the biggest challenge for me, other than keeping my motivation going, is really the fact that I'm writing this project in third person, which is really odd for me. As a writer, I favor first person. It just feels more natural for me to tell the stories as if I'm a part of the world rather than an outside observer. You know? That being said, I am enjoying writing this project and hopefully you're all enjoying reading it.

With the lockdown and pandemic, I haven't been feeling very motivated lately. However, after not doing much of anything for several months now, I decided that I wanted to start being productive again and so I'm putting in my best effort to try and do that.

One of my goals that I wanna focus on is finishing my current writing project, Hamilton: The Not-So-Micro- Pig -- speaking of, I just posted another chapter, show it some love -- hopefully, within the next two months. The sooner I finish that, the sooner I can start working on editing my first completed project, drown. The plan for that -- if I don't hear anything back from SwoonReads -- is to self-publish, which I'm really excited about.

I'm posting this announcement as a way to hold myself accountable for these goals. It would also help if I started being more active here on Wattpad, but with how many social media pages I'm afraid to make any promises. I'll try though. Anyway, I just wanna say thank you to those of you who've been reading my work. I saw a lot of activity over the last few months -- more than I've had before -- and I really appreciate it. I'm humbled that people are enjoying the things that I've been writing. It means a lot.

          Much love and take care!
