Sarah Ellis

Hello My Darlings, 
My name is Sarah and I hail from the grey skies of the west coast. I was born and raised in Washington - beneath the many boughs of evergreens. And yes, if you were wondering, vampires live amongst us. However, I've taken up my own hero's journey. After finishing my illustration and writing degree in Oregon I've flown off to Colorado. I frolic in the mountains and explore the state's many parks and trails. I would love to be a young adult author one day, following in the footsteps of the great wordsmiths before me - those who cultivated the magical realities I fled to while growing up. I thirst for complex worlds, breathtaking romance, bloodthirsty villains, and intoxicating magic. Now I find myself typing furiously, creating worlds in which I hope also encapsulates all these themes. Perhaps one day, someone will find an escape in my words in the same way they've been an escape for me. 

As we become acquainted, you'll become very aware of my partiality to victorian era films, the Star Wars franchise, and almost every genre available on Netflix (in which I'm currently making my way through Supernatural). I have a dog named Professor C.S. Lewis - a chipper pup who keeps my lap warm at all times. 

Also, I don't like eating the ends off of pickles.
