i’m realizing a lot of people think the merry men masquerade is a fantasy. to those who have read it, would you agree? i’ve never considered it one, but i can see where it comes from. the setting is made up, and there are a few fantastical elements (just the animals, mainly dragons and pegasi), but they have such a small role that i don’t see the whole world as being a fantasy world. it’s more historical to me, but then again, it can’t really be historical either, since the setting isn’t real, so now i don’t know what it is

It’s set in a fantasy world, so I would call it fantasy, even though the main plot points don’t really centre on the fantasy elements. It’s a fantasy based historical romance is how I would describe it to someone (while being really vague LOL)
