stereotypes. they are hard to break. but if we work together, they CAN be broken.

there is that one everlasting idea/concept that cannot be ignored: be light-skin, you're too dark.
why does your skin have to define who YOU are?

outside appearances shouldn't count as much as inside ones do. your personality is who you are, it makes you, well you.

Fair & Lovely in particular makes people feel that lighter skinned individuals are prettier, can get men to like them and other frivolous ideas like that.

take my profile picture for instance. i love the picture so much as it shows that all brown girls are beautiful, especially the ones with darker skin.

there are so many people in the world that try to tan their skin and become darker. we are naturally tan & beautiful, take pride in that.

just know that all skin colors are beautiful.
[not against the brand Fair & Lovely, just against the concept of why it was made]

help spread awareness. this cause shouldn't have to wait, it's already waited thousands of years. do something now.
