Can We Learn To Love Again ?

The break up

"Hey warrior, wake up" I wake up as someone shout. I groan as my neck crack as I wake up. "Where a'r we ?" I say while combing my hair flat. I frown as I feel something on my lap. I rub my eyes to clear my vision. "Who put this on me ?" I pick Ahkmenrah's cape with my hand.

Jed shrug his shoulder "I no know who, warrior" he chuckle "maybe the golden boy trying to play nice with you". I nod and sigh "maybe".

I get up and climb down. I say thankyou and hug Amelia goodbye and leave her and Larry alone. I push the door in and Rexy immeadiately approach me.

"Hey" I rub his head.

"Eliza, how are you doing ?" Teddy pat my back. I smile "I'm good, if I may Teddy, I should escort two gentlemen to the storage" he grin slightly and nod. "My lady" Oct call "if I may request, can we visit the diorama room ?". I smile "sure". And so we walk to the diorama room.

I put them on the bench and let them stare at their place. "This is wha' call as home, boy" Jed say. I look at my watch "Come on guys, theres still something I need to do" they climb up my palm and they sit on my shoulder.

"What are ya goin' to do ?" Jed ask. "I need to return this" I look at the cape "thing".

We walk to the storage or rather I walk to the storage. When we arrive infront of their box, they hug my neck.

"You will visit us, Eliza ?" Oct ask. "Yeah sure" I pause "Only if they allow me". I put them on the lid, "I will miss you warrior" Jed say saluting me. "Me too, my lady" Oct salute me. I salute them both and walk away.

"Larry !" I jog to him as he talk to Teddy "Do you see Ahkmenrah ?". He raise an eyebrow and I glare to him "He is in the Temple, perhaps" he say. I nod and jog there. I peek inside looking at the jackal guys.

I spot Ahkmenrah staring at his tablet. I step inside and stop waiting for jackal to slash me. Silent...nothing.
I walk quietly to the sarcofagus and stand there. "Missing something ?" I sling the cape on my shoulder. He turn around and walk quickly approaching me.

He bent down, take my hand and kiss it "My lady" he say as he stand up. I stand up as straight as I can. "Pharaoh Ahkmenrah" I start "its yours right ?"
He look at me straight on the eyes "Please don't call me that".

Ignoring his sentence, I reach the back of my neck and take off the necklace "Here" I hand it to him. "No, you can't give it back" he hand it back to me. I look at him confusely "Why ?". He sigh "the magic is already inside you". I frantically search for any sign of humor "what do you mean by the magic inside me ?" I step forward "explain, now"

"I cant" he say glancing to the floor. "Fine" I pause "then we are end"I turn around and run away ignoring his calling. I run out the museum not even bothering to tell Larry.
