The cottage

"Fundy where are you taking me!" Said the cute girl
"Just keep closing your eyes"
"But I feel dumb"
"No you look very cute"said the sly fox

Y/n was very flustered at this point from being carried from her crush and have compliments chunked at her.

"And open!" Fundy said

Y/n removed her hands from her face and saw her old village all cute and aesthetic. She saw the smiths, and the school house, the old oak tree where it came to be called the 'Cupid door way'. The legend goes that on your birthday if you come to the tree you will find your soul mate whether it be a friend or a lover

Y/n remember her 16th birthday so clearly it was almost like glass

✨Flash back ✨

"3652 days of being on my own" said a sad but happy 16 year old y/n

"Why do I have to be alone on my birthday" she saidk walking to the old oak tree up at the hill. Sitting under the tree look at the pink sunset

"WHOA!!" Said a fox boy falling out of the tree
"AGH- UM.. are you okay?" Y/n said patting his head as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Heh yeah sorry.. hi I'm Fundy soot, and I'm 15"
"Y/n.. y/n  l/n, and today is my birthday I turned 16." She said looking down at the grass knowing she'll never get a happy birthday from her mother.

"OH! Happy birthday!" The fox said hugging the girl with his tail wagging and ears twitching.

At this moment she felt safe and loved she just knew the boy and she knew they will be together forever..
