[Book 2] Sofia The First: A Friends Company

A Peaceful Night

Night time has come and everyone was still in Sofia's room, they all changed into their night clothes, Leona was still in the changing room

Just then Sofia let out a heavy sneeze

"bless you" Hugo, James and Amber chorused

"thanks" Sofia replied smiling

Just then, Leona emerged from the changing room wearing her nightgown

"woah, nice nightgown" Amber complimented her

Leona turned to Amber, "thanks" she replied

James just stared at her and Hugo noticed his behaviour and couldn't resist trying to get his attention.

"James? Hello?" Hugo said as he tried to snap James out, "Earth to James!" he said as he raised an eyebrow.

Amber saw what was happening and wanted to help by pinching James' ear and James cried out in pain

"ow ow ow, I'm awake!" James cried

Hugo just laughed and Amber let go of James' ear as he just whimpered like a puppy

Leona thought it was cute so she just patted James' head and went to Sofia

James just blushed at her act and he just burried his face in the pillows.

"James!!!" Amber groaned

"Leave me alone! I am dying of embarrassment here, just let me suffer!" James said in the pillows

Amber and Hugo looked at each other and laughed at his behaviour.

"So, any ideas what we're gonna do today? it's still early" Leona asked as she looked at the clock showing that it's only 7:10pm.

Everyone thought of an idea what to do and they all have shared what they wanted to do.

"Maybe, we can play" Hugo suggested

"But we already played the whole day" James told him

"have snacks?" Amber suggested

"we already ate dinner Amber" Leona replied, "And we ate a lot" she added.

Just then Sofia let out a yawn, so did everyone, just then Hugo got an idea

"I know, how about a song or a lullaby to help us go to sleep" Hugo told them.

"sounds like a good idea" Amber told him

"who's going to sing?" James asked

Everyone looked at each other...

"obviously, I'm not singing" Sofia said raising an eyebrow.

Everyone giggled except Leona who just shrugged

"I don't have any ideas what lullaby I'm going to sing" Amber told them

"me too" Hugo replied

"same here" James added

Then they all looked at Leona who's just stayed quiet

"Hey little sis, do you have any ideas for a lullaby?" Hugo asked his little sister

Leona looked at Hugo and nodded, "I have" she sighed

"oooh, what is it?" Amber asked

Leona took a few breaths before speaking again, "It's lullaby I learned from a dream I had" she said, "Though it kind of reminds me of my birth parents" she added

Everyone is sad for her, then Amber came up to her and put a hand on her shoulder

"I know you're sad of what happened to your parents, but remember, that they're always in your heart" Amber told her

Leona felt much better as she looked at Amber, "thanks" Leona said

"no problem" Amber replied

Just then Leona took a few breaths and asked, "so, do you guys want to hear it?"

Everyone nodded as she and the others went to their sleeping bags, while Sofia snuggled up in her bed

Leona inhaled and exhaled as she started to sing....

As she finished her lullaby, she saw that Sofia and the others are fast asleep, she just sighed as she snuggled up in her sleeping bag and fell asleep

the five royals slept peacefully, Sofia was glad that she had her siblings and friends gave her some company when she's feeling alone.
