Epilogue

"Carmen, come here, sweetie." I knelt on the floor and watched the three-year-old girl who was strolling toward me.

When she got to me, I took her by the hand and walked towards the door, "We're going outside to see dadda now, okay?" I adjusted her pink dress.

My little baby nodded eagerly, "Dadda!" she cheered happily.

I picked up her pink snake stuffed animal and gave it to her before we went out into the garden.

Today was a small family party at Oscar's and my new house.

We decided to get our own house a long time ago and found a very nice one.

I went outside with the toddler where I immediately spotted a couple of Santos, who were sitting together on a bench and talking.

Oscar was standing at the grill next to them. Mom, Noah and his girlfriend were sitting on another bench with Pablo's wife and a few other women.

I walked to the grill with Carmen and immediately we heard someone squeak. "Carmen, your favorite uncle is here!" Gabriel called, who came running and lifted Carmen into the air, who started to laugh, "Uncle Gabriel!"

He spun her around in the air until he stopped and excitedly pointed to her cuddly toy, "What's that?"

My little girl hid the cuddly toy behind her back, "It's a snake."

Gabriel looked behind the little girl's back, "Can I see it?"

Carmen looked up at me and I smiled at her. She pouted and pulled the snake out from behind her back and held it to Gabriel.

I had to laugh when Gabriel picked up the cuddly toy.

He was just a kid too.

I looked up only to see Oscar was already looking at me.

I left Gabriel and Carmen alone for a moment and went to him. He turned to me and gave me a quick kiss on the lips, "Hola mi amore, are you okay?" I nodded and looked up at him, "She loves her new cuddly toy."

He grinned, "I actually wanted to buy her an earthworm cuddly toy, but then I mistook it for a snake."

He pulled me toward him with his hands on my waist.

I rolled my eyes, "How funny."

He hummed and a little girl's voice made him look down, "Dadda can you pick me up?"

"Of course, mi pequeña princesa." (my little princess)

He picked her up and she giggled.

"Where's your cuddly toy?" he asked the little one.

"Gabriel has it." she pouted.

Oscar's head snapped in the direction of Gabriel, who was holding the pink snake and running to the other Santos.

"That dickhead." Oscar shook his head.

"That dickhead." said the little child with the pink dress in his arms.

His head jerked frightened in my direction.

You are in serious trouble.

I really enjoyed writing this book and I hope it wasn't too boring. I decided to describe in this short book how the reader and Spooky met and fell in love. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it. XD
