Chapter Two: Eye Contact

William POV & 3rd POV

In Washington, DC

Lance is seen driving his car, to get to H.T.U.V. HQ. The scenes now change and goes below water.

"Next. Okay, put everything in the bin. Yes, come through." Geraldine, the security guard said. The screen shows that Lance had arrived. "Oh! He's coming." Geraldine said, as she looks back.

The elevator door opens to reveal Lance. "Wow. Here he comes!" A female employee said. Everyone starts to cheers and applaud for him.

"Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you. Yep, it's him. Thank you, thank you." Lance said. "Looking good, Agent Sterling!" A male employee said.

"Hey, not looking so bad yourself." Lance said back. "Thank you, thank you. Yeah, you know what? Go ahead back to work. Go ahead back to work. It's too much." Lance said, everyone stopped cheering. "It's probably the right amount." Lance said making everyone laughed. "But still go back to work. Still go back to work." Lance said as he fist-bumped with Geraldine.

"You're so crazy." Geraldine said. Lance walks past the security causing the alarm to blare. "What's up, Sterling?" Another male employee said. "Lucas!" Lance said. "My name's Dave." The male employee who is called, Dave said. "There you go. Good to see you." Lance said as he continues walking through the crowd.

"Morning. sir." Agent Bruno, and Agent Quane greeted. "Fellas, give it to me." Lance said as he clashes his fist with Agent Bruno. "Dude, did you see that?" Agent Bruno asked. "Never wash that hand again." Agent Quane said. "I feel stronger. Like, I legit feel stronger." Agent Bruno said. "Can I hold it?" Agent Quane asked. "Yeah." Agent Bruno replied.

"Dude from Accounting." Lance greeted. "Thanks for the win, Sterling." The guy said. "Keep my money right. Keep my money right. Go ahead, man. All right." Lance said as he patted a male employee's shoulder and entered the elevator.

"Hey, welcome back, Lance." A male employee said. "Thank you, thank you." Lance said as he pulled his suit, and some of the kitty glitter is still there. "Aw, he's the most adorable agent ever!" A female employee said. "Somebody gonna get it." Lance muttered as the elevator door closes.

Lance entered the lab, and walks down the stairs. He goes through a bunch of Armorers. Lance reached a table with three Armorers.

"Oh! Agent Sterling." A female employee greeted. Lance shows her the kitty glitter. "Walter Beckett." The female employee said, while her and the others pointed to where, Walter is. "Weirdo." A male employee said as he coughed.

We are now at Walter's desk, with a picture of him, William, and Wendy together. "Unitee loves you." The Unitee toy said, as Walter places it on his desk.

"All right, Unitee. Imagine... a hydrothermal explosion is about to melt your face off. But what's this? A gadget that can surround you in a pressurized pocket of safety?" Walter said as he places the gadget on the Unitee toy. "Can it work?" Walter asked himself in a different voice.

"It hasn't yet, but maybe. Here we go. Session number nine, test 30..." Walter was about to continue, but the door swings opened and hit him. Terrance saw Walter, and was trying to not face him or talk to him. "Oh! Oh, hey, Terrance. Tonight's the season finale of Hearts in Seoul. I sent you an e-vite." Walter said.

"I, uh..." Terrance was going to say, but he walks away. "You just click 'accept' in your... Agent Sterling. Uh... Hi, wow. Uh, Walter Beckett. Pleasure to meet..." Walter said. Lance shows Walter the kitty glitter. "Aw. You used it." Walter said.

"You touched my stuff." Lance said as he walks closer to Walter. Walter starts to back away. "Okay, okay. Look, I know it's non-traditional, but..." Walter was about to say but got interrupted.
