Ch. 18 "School"

It has been a few weeks since Christmas. 

the party was like something I've never seen before. so many people. so many presences, so much food. 

I spet so much time with each and everyone of the Avengers. 

Clint even showed me a little bit how to shoot a bow. 

But of course Tony put an end to that quickly. 

Today however... I've taken a very big step.. 

I looked at myself in the mirror as I adjusted my shirt. 

I decided to take the leap. to go ahead a few grades. I am starting my first day in a high school a small child in with a bunch of teenagers. 

I took a deep breath as I looked at myself in the mirror. my hair braided to the side. I had a grey tee shirt. and jean shorts on and black converse on.

I took another deep breath. 

I don't know about this maybe this was a mistake...

"Hey munchkin you ready?" Tony said popping his head in the cracked door. 

I spun around. 

"Tony I don't think I can do this.." I said clearly very nervous 

"Hey what kind of talk is that?" Tony said walking in kneeling in front of me wiping my shirt lightly with his hand trying to get some of the wrinkles out of it.

"Your going to be spectacular. and remember if anyone gives you any kind of grief remember you are going to high school you are advanced, you are six years old and going to high school. at best you are going to be the owner of a major company. at worst you will be a CEO of that company." Tony said looking at me sternly 

"And if anyone makes fun of you just remember the best they will do is become a janitor at a crappy high school." Tony said 

You know that shouldn't make me feel better but it does. 

I nodded. 

"And don't forget Peter will be there in anyone tries to mess with you." Tony said 

"You really think I can do this?' I asked 

"If I didn't think so I wouldn't have pushed you to do this." Tony said tucking a loose piece of hair behind my ear. 

"You can do this. and don't worry about it Me and your mom are a phone call away." He said smiling at me. 

"Got it." He said 

"Yeah." I said smiling back at him. 

"There is that smile I was looking for." He said 

He stood up. 

"Now come on. I'm going to drop you off today." He said taking my hand and picking up my back pack with his other. 

I just really hope he's right. 

I got in the passengers seat. Tony got in the drivers seat. 

"Seatbelt." Tony said 

I nodded 

I buckled up. 

And Tony drove up. once we drove up to the school I see all these teenagers. I held my breath. teenagers. why did it have to be teenagers. I thought 

"You got this Munchkin." He said 

I nodded 

grabbing my back pack and hoping out of the car. 

I took in my surroundings. 

"Okay Satori. you can do this. walk tall. and don't show any fear." I whispered as I started walking towards the entrance.
