3rd pov

A few hours after the attack on Hunter's base, Y/N is sitting inside of a Osprey looking down. He had his usual emotionless face on as he look down at his hands. They were shaking slightly as he remembered all the looks of betrayal from his T-dolls...

Flashback

After Hunter was taken down, multiple Blackhawks started entering the base and landing inside. An Osprey arrives and lands a few meters away in front of Y/N before the cargo ramp comes down. Y/N was about to approached the Osprey until a hand stop him revealing them to be M4A1 who looked confused

M4A1: Commander? Why are extracting from the AO? Aren't we supposed to regroup at Griffin?

He didn't respond as he shrugged her hand off of him causing M4A1 to be slightly conflicted never in her life has Y/N did that

You:...You girls aren't going anywhere... They only came for me

That got M4A1 and everyone else to be confused as they feel something is wrong with him. His voice speaks with a slight of hostility

SOP-II: B-But you promise us that you'd help us on getting M16A1. If we'd return to Griffin then we'd...

You: Find her? Yeah, you'll find her when you're at Griffin without ME. It's time we parted ways...

Five-Seven: Commander...what are saying? If this is a joke then stop it you're scaring us

He look over his shoulder as the girls saw how dull his eyes is. He glares at them causing some of them to take a step back slightly afraid

You: Do I look like I'm joking? No. For real this time, you all were nothing but merely tools for me to gain intel on the enemy

The girls all felt hurt seeing as they were nothing but tools for him to use. Y/N knowing that they'll not stop him anymore continued walking inside the Osprey. He glanced at them slightly seeing that some glares especially SOP-II whose glare could murder someone. The ramp started to close up as SOP-II shouted

SOP-II: You promised to help us but you're going to abandoned us! We should have never trusted you! You traitor!

Y/N close his eyes and exhaled before sitting on a seat. Luckily, Hunter was safely sent back to base by a squad of Rangers picking her up in a Blackhawk

Flashback End

He sits there looking at his hands before clenching both of them. He felt the Osprey landed and stood up as the cargo ramp goes down. He walk out from the Osprey seeing that they have landed on one of The Coalition's base. He soon saw someone walking towards him and someone is James, his squad leader. James saw the look on Y/N's face and knows that the deed is done

James: Hello, Y/N. Let's get you situated with Phase 2 of the plan

You: Yes, sir

They walk through the halls of the empty base as Y/N look around to see everywhere is trashed

You: Sir, might I asked why are we using this abandoned base?

James: Well, since this base was abandoned by Sangvis Ferri means we'll most likely won't be found along with a chance to find intel on Intruder

That caught Y/N by surprise at the word of the mysterious Ringleader. He knows that whoever is this Ringleader is that almost nothing is known in the archives other than her name. In other words, she's a ghost

You: We're gonna hunt down Intruder, sir?

James nodded

James: Yes. General Shepherd has high hopes of us uncovering her identity and put an end to her as she has been a thorn to our side
