Sore Throat (TH)

Sick person : Taehyung
Caretaker : Jimin

(Taehyung has a sore throat, bad cough and is overall feeling under the weather, he and Jimin go out for lunch together, Taehyung chokes, Jimin saves him)

3rd person POV

Taehyung is listening to Jimin ramble about a new track he and Yoongi have been working on. They're on the couch and were watching a random kdrama but now it was just back ground noises.

"Yeah I just don't know, should it have a sexy vibe- or just like a fun vibe-" god- was Jimin always this loud? Probably not. Taehyung loves hanging out with Jimin, they're really similar in age, get along and are best friends. But today Taehyung woke up not feeling the best, his throat is sore, it hurts to speak, his head is throbbing and he can't stop coughing even though it feels like knives on his throat.

So today he just felt like laying down on his bed, with someone who could cuddle him and not talk. Jimin was mid talking when his stomach growled, "-are you hungry Taehyung? There's this place down the road, I absolutely love it and I think you'll like it too!" Jimin says. Taehyung nods, he was kind of hungry and food might do him some good. "Okay I'll change and put my shoes on, meet back here in 5." And with that Jimin is off.

Taehyung peels his body from the couch after sinking into the cushions. Shortly after Jimin left Taehyung starts to head to his bedroom. He puts on a pretty standard outfit, not too dressy but not lounging-around type of clothes. He combs his hair with his fingers, stopping to massage his aching head after a few seconds. He puts a mask under his chin and leaves his room to meet Jimin in the living room.

Of course Taehyung finishes after 5 minutes but Jimin slacks behind, taking 8 minutes till he's fully ready. "Ready?" Jimin smiles at Taehyung, who nods. "I told Hoseokie-hyung that we're going out to get some lunch." Jimin says before they're both out the door.

Jimin starts mentioning the cool restaurant they're going to as they walk, mostly about the fact they are absolutely amazing at making all Jimin's favourite dishes. Taehyung has to suppress a few coughs after already having a coughing fit during the walk, he doesn't want to worry Jimin.

Taehyung loves sunny weather but now, as the heat of the huge star in the sky shines on him he's wanting to be nowhere other than in his bedroom, with all the curtains closed. Taehyung's head throbs at the heat and bright light of being outside, he tries to use his long, fluffy hair to provide him some shade. He regrets not bringing sunglasses.

Once they reach the restaurant Jimin is showing Taehyung all his favourite things on the menu and is giving many reasons as to why its so good. "Oh my god- I forgot about this one! The japchae here is to die for seriously Tae, you have to try this." Jimin points to the item on the menu. "Okay, what are you gonna get then?" Taehyung agrees quickly, partly because he's not bothered to go through the menu and pick for himself what he'd want to get.

"I'll get the jajangmyeon and a side of gimbap we can share." Jimin nods to himself, satisfied with his choice. Meanwhile Taehyung is feeling a little overloaded with all the smells messing with his sore brain and the noise level penetrates through his skull painfully. Taehyung tries not to let his pain show on his face and he assumes he succeeds, as Jimin doesn't point out anything.

The two '95 liners make some quiet chatter as they wait for the food to come. Jimin is so excited when a waiter comes over to their table and places their meals down, along with their side dish. Jimin snaps some photos of the food but doesn't end up posting them. Taehyung takes a few too so he's not left out and posts a picture of the mouth-watering food on his instagram story.

Taehyung smiles as armys like the story and react with hearts. "I'm gonna have to head to the gym after all this but it's so good!!!" Jimin says, picking up his chopsticks and beginning to dig in. Taehyung starts to eat too and Jimin was right, the food is amazing! Taehyung's still in pain but he's able to enjoy his food.
