Ch 6: Redemed

Steven's POV

After seeing Issac kicking the corrupted butts we went back home, watching that was super awesome! Who knew that an engineer could do all of that! When we arrived Issac walked over to the couch and plopped down, stomping that corrupted gem did look tiring, Peridot ran over to her notes. Probably about the weapons Issac's used. The rest sat next to him I wanted to ask Issac when he said, I've taken bigger down, how big does he mean? Isaac sighed collecting his energy

"Hey, Issac can I ask you a question?"

Isaac: Yeah sure, what's up kid?"

"When you said that you killed bigger things than the corrupted how big were they?" The others also had this curious expression too.

Pearl: "That is a good question."

Isaac: "Well the three I've faced were about tall as a skyscraper and the third one was the size of a planet" Everyone cannot even express what they heard well except for Garnet, Isaac took down a monster the size of a planet?!

Amethyst: "How the heck did you do that?!"

Isaac: "Look can we not talk about this? I told what you wanted..."

"Alright alright I'm gonna take a walk now."

Lapis: "Stay safe Steven!"

"I will!" exiting the temple I walked down the stairs, How did Issac kill a monster the size of the planet?! I mean he told me about looking for its weakness. But still, how did he do it? As I'm walking, my ears are ringing, weird maybe it's from that battle? Ignoring it but the ringing was getting worse so much that I couldn't handle it anymore, I was screaming in pain from what was happening to me. I passed out, But I soon woke up in a cave-like structure with odd colors, it kinda looks like Jaspers! I got up and looked around where am I? And why was I here? I kept walking until I hear someone struggling I walked over to the noise carefully I see Jasper chained down on the floor! Being startled by this I back up, she looks like Lapis when she was also trapped, she seems to be in pain by fighting off the corruption maybe I can heal her? That is if she'll let me

"Jasper?"

Jasper: "Rose!" she tried to break free from the chains but failed, she looked at me angrily.

"Please, Jasper I know you're in lotta pain, especially about Pink diamond. But I'm sorry for everything, even though I'm not Rose Quartz." She looked shocked but was deciding whether to trust me or not I stepped forward

"Just let me heal you, please!" She looked away and didn't know what to say she placed her hand on her face. I placed my hand on her shoulder

"Now tell me, where does it hurt?" She looked at me, not with an angry expression but with a. Why are you doing this expression it looks like my words are working yes!

Jasper: "T-there." Jasper pointed looking to my right, and I saw.. Jasper's torn mind just like Garner said. Alright let's do this, I licked my hand and placed it down on her cracked mind and it started to heal! The cracks connected and now are fixed I turned around and saw that Jasper didn't have any chains on her being cautious,

Jasper: "W-why did you heal me? After everything, I did to you."

"Because you don't know the truth about who I am. I'm not Rose Quartz all I want to do is to help, yes what you did to me was wrong but I forgive you, Jasper." I walked over to her offering my hand she looks up at me and takes it

Jasper: "Thank you, Ros- no Steven." She said with a smile "Hey, you said my name!" I notice that the dream is fading away

"Jasper listen after I wake up I'm going to unbubble you and try to convince the others that you are friendly to us."

Jasper: "Hmph fine." After those words, my vision is cut to me waking up,

"Oh my head..." shaking the pain off I look around and see Isaac sleeping, I look out the window and see that the sun is starting to rise to wait how long was I was out!? That doesn't matter what does is I have to get Jasper out. I was tiptoeing down the stairs until I heard the temple gate start to open, panicking I roll over to the kitchen counter just like in my ninja movies heh heh. No Jasper needs me! I stealthily crouch over to the gate and open it I run inside. Wiping the sweat off my head.

"Phew alright, that's done I need to get into Garnet's room since that's where Jasper is." as I say that I see a pinkish pole I remember that leads into her room! I grab on sliding down. I reach her room and let go and I stick on the landing, not like last time. I look around, I wonder where Garnet is? I shouldn't waste time looking in the air after some time I see Jasper. I jump up and grab the bubble

"gotcha!"  I pop it, and Jasper glew raised in the air she formed a body, and Jasper dropped down to the ground

"Jasper are you ok?" She tries to get up but falls to her knee I'm guessing that corruption did do a good one to her.

Jasper: "I'm fine..."

"Alright, take your time."  She got up slowly watching her balance

Jasper: "I'm ready, what do we do now?"

"Well like I said I gotta convince the gems that your not a threat to us, Issac's going be easy since he doesn't know who you are."

Jasper: "Issac? Who's Issac?"

"Issac is one of us we found him in the ocean when he saved the Galaxy from this giant monster planet or something."

Jasper: "Defeating a planet-sized monster? He must be very strong." Saying with a smile

"Oh no, he's a human-like me."

Jasper: A human?" her smile fell "Then how did he stop the creature?"

"Well, he said he was looking for the weakness and he was focused."

Jasper: "hmph, basic training I will ask him myself." just as she said that. The gate opened I turn around and see Garnet.  She had a fearful look on her face and pulled out her weapons

Garnet: "Steven get away from her!"

"Wait, Garnet listen! I know what Jasper did but I got her to join us, please you have to trust me!"

she looked at me and back at Jasper for a few seconds shs decides if we should keep Jasper on the team or not, she sighed and placed her weapons away

Garnet: "The one thing I've always known is that you are always right Steven." oh thank gosh that was close!

Garnet: "Well, Jasper welcome to the team."
