everyday there is a new flower
but my favourite are the dahlias.

i love the star incrusted dahlias woven from moondew and sunrock, shimmering lanterns that illuminate both the garden and my heart. i gaze at the way their crystal petals unfurl, a catastrophic happening of blossoming bleeding hearts and fatal kisses from a long lost love.

they do not remind me what was, or what could've been.

they remind me what is, and what can be.

and what will be.
