In order to win the hand of the future king of the most powerful kingdom, 12 royals from the neighboring kingdoms must charm and enchant the prince by day and kill off the competition by night.
Every day the princesses compete in three different challenges to prove their beauty, grace and talent to the prince, and the winner of that day is protected from being killed off that night.
In the dark of night, the princesses hunt each other until one is murdered for that day. Then they rest and prepare for the next day of games. That last royal standing will be betrothed and crowned the new queen of the kingdom.
