Cameron Evans isn't looking for love. At least, not with anyone except Steph Dupont, the mesmerizing hockey captain she had a fling with last spring. Then Luce Flores waltzes onto campus, and Cam's world is flipped upside down when she's assigned to write an article on the new hockey 'it girl'. Luce is everything Cam hates, but this is her ticket to Editor-In-Chief, so she'll have to grin and bear it.
Luce Flores isn't looking to make friends. She just wants to keep her head down until she can prove she's deserving of a scholarship, otherwise she'll be back to Community College. So when Cam sidles up to her with a newspaper request, she can't think of anything worse. That is, until she discovers Cam's hidden coaching ability, and the two realize they might have compatible goals after all.
As the two fumble through 20 questions and saucer passes, though, they begin to wonder if their deal is just the beginning of something much bigger...something that neither was looking for.
A/N: After a very long hiatus, I'm very excited to start writing a fresh, new story on Wattpad. As someone who played hockey for 12 years, a queer hockey romance has been noodling in my brain for quite some time, and I'm drawing a lot of inspiration for this one from my own College experience. This one will be full to the brim with all the fun stuff; enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and a whole lot of brooding.
Looking forward to taking this journey with all of you! The first chapter will be up early August 2022.
