It was now morning as the sun shines into the middle of the pit as Basil reluctantly opens his eyes
Basil: Morning already~
Basil stretched with a yawn before exiting the arena as he grabs some paper and a pen before writing down on the paper as he moves around the city
Basil: So much to do. So little time!
Basil then makes his way to the helicopters as he gets inside smiling a bit
Basil: Could you please take me to the largest city?
The helicopter then takes off as Basil reviews his list making sure he wasn't missing anything
*Timeskip*
After a bit of travel the helicopter finally lands as Basil thanks it before going into the city
Basil: So first I should get flowers
Immediately as he wanders the streets people begin to panic as they run around hiding and screaming much to Basil's dismay
Basil: Um don't worry I'm just hear for shopping~
?: HE'S GOING TO COOK AND EAT US!!!
Basil: Wha-? No!
Eventually everyone is either badly hiding or has fled the area as Basil sighs before continuing on. Eventually he finds a flower stand as he approaches it peering behind the stand to see the shopkeeper hiding
Basil: Excuse me? Um do you have any purple roses~
The lady screams before nervously nodding as she hands Basil a few bundles of the roses
Basil: Thank you. Now how much would this cost?
Shopkeeper: D-dont worry about that it's on the h-house!
Basil: Oh? Thank you!
Basil smiles before slithering away carrying the roses in a bag as he looks at the next thing on his list
Basil: Alright. Now I need a gift!
As Basil thinks he continues to wander the city shopping center looking for anything that would make a giant city eating snake happy
Basil: Maybe she would like something to eat? No she might think I'm insulting her!
Basil groans as he trys to think of something that would make her happy. Until eventually he hears a couple voices infront of him as he looks and sees the Ninja all wearing glasses looking at him
Kai: Heya snakey
Basil: Um hello? I left my spear at Ouroboros!
Basil trys to sneak away but fails as the Ninja surround him blocking off any hope of escaping
Basil: Um have I done something wrong?
Jay: YOU TURNED US TO STONE!!!
Basil: Oh. Right
Basil flares up his hood as he trys to turn the ninja to stone once again but fails as the glasses stop direct eye contact
Basil: Well as much as I would like to continue this. I have a very important task at hand!
Basil once again trys to slip away but as he does so he feels a weight on his wrist as he looks down to see a pair of cuffs
Basil: Ah.
The Ninja guide Basil out of town and onto a giant ship outside as Basil begins to get...... Nervous
Basil: Listen as much as I would like to continue..... This. I really have more important matters to attend!
Zane: Like what?
Basil: I need to think of a gift for my dearest!
Cole: Well your girlfriend will have to wait because we have a few questions for you
Basil: Atleast hold these and keep good care of them?
Basil then hands Zane the bag of flowers with a sigh as Zane awkwardly holds them. Basil is then led down into the ship as he sees a old man. They then all gather around infront of Basil
Basil: Well. I think we should start with introductions. I am Basil nice to meet you
Wu: I am sensei Wu and these are my students. Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane
Basil: Yay! Now can I leave?
Wu: I'm afraid not Basil. We need to know what you and the serpentine are planning
Basil groans as his mind starts to spin ways of escaping somewhat peacefully
Basil: Listen you have probably put it together by now but let me tell you anyway. We are going to awaken my love soon so I am in a hurry to make sure everything goes great for her!
Jay: Listen the problem with that is your girlfriend is going to destroy ALL of Ninjago if she wakes up!
Basil: Says who. A old piece of paper? Maybe a drawing on a stone wall? All unreliable sources that can change just like time.
Wu: Maybe so. But many prophecies have came true and I have seen first hand what destruction The Devourer has done.
Basil begins to laugh as he wipes a tear from his eye
Basil: T-that is true! She is very destructive!!!
Cole: Is he crazy or...?
Kai: I believe the term is madly in love?
Basil: Yes and is their a problem with that
Zane: Guys I hate to point this out but all he hasn't really hurt anybody? I mean he has flowers-
Jay: Evil flowers!
Zane: No I checked. Normal roses
Cole: That he probably stole!
Basil: No the lady gave them to me. A kind gesture I appreciated
Basil smirks thinking they have nothing on him and he will be free to go soon
Kai: He also broke multiple dangerous prisoners out of prison.
Basil:....... You got me there
Kai: And you admitted to assisting in a possible world ending event
Basil begins to get frustrated as it becomes clear he wont be leaving any time soon as he starts to glare and hiss at the Ninja
Basil: Who are these younglings to tell me that what I'm doing is wrong? All I am doing is being a good husband!!!.....
Im sick of these games!
In a quick motion Basil breaks his hands free of the cuffs before spinning and slamming his tail into the Ninja. Wu jumps over his tail but he then whips his tail into Zane. Knocking him into a wall before catching his flowers
Basil: I'm very sorry about that but I hope you understand I have limited time!
Basil begins to slither out of the ship and onto the deck when he feels a pull on his tail. He looks back to see Wu holding him
Wu: I can't let you!
Basil: WHY!?
Basil flares up his hood as Wu looks at him before turning to stone as Basil frees his tail finally arriving onto the deck
Basil: I think I'm just going to get her chocolate~
Basil goes back into the city as he takes some chocolate from a stand before dropping a gold coin onto the stand and leaving back outside before whistling loudly
Basil: I just want a nice peaceful reunion with my love. Is that to much to ask?
Eventually the helicopter arrives and lands infront of Basil he then slithers inside as it takes off back to Ouroboros
Basil: I just hope their isn't any fighting going on back home... Nah they seem really close to one another
