“Doctor Byun, may I know if you’re here because… someone is injured?” A female reporter questioned. She shifted her confused gaze onto Jungkook. “Could it be, CEO Jeon…”
“Beautiful lady, we’re all people with good character. You can’t carelessly make up news headlines like that.” Baekhyun gave her a perfect, charming smile.
“It’s like this.” He pointed at Lisa. “CEO Jeon’s fiancée, Miss Lisa, was eating fruits during dinner when she accidentally cut her hand with a fruit knife. I cameby to check on her.”
He had already asked the bodyguard earlier about Lisa’s injury.
He did not expect her to grab the knife for the CEO. It turned out that she had some… brainless courage.
This news could be sold for some good money. Unfortunately, he feared that the CEO would cripple him. Thus, he gave up the thought of exposing it.

Baekhyun really wanted to refuse. However, he saw that a lot of cameras were focused on him. For the sake of his reputation as a God in the medical world, he could only nod. “Of course.”
A group of people headed for the nearby hospital on foot.
In a single room ward on the hospital’s second floor, a crowd of reporters had gathered.
Lilan was, currently, weakly responding to the interview questions. She lamented about Lisa. “You say, are there any daughters like her? She won’t even come to visit me after my accident. I really brought her up for nothing. My heart really hurts!”
