Rafes office
Rafe glances at his cell it's almost 4 am
He looks back at his desk and opens Hopes file , he skims through the pictures , then remembers his conversation with Victor
He gets up from his desk and leaves his office
Salem Hospital Hopes Room
Kayla sits with a stack of paperwork she is going through as Hope sleeps , she glances at her watch and is happy that Hope has been able to sleep awhile , she notices Hope start to toss and turn
Hope - starts quietly talking in her sleep , quickly her quiet talking turns to screaming , Hope sits up in bed , she doesn't remember being in the hospital she thinks she's still In the tunnel cell
Kayla gets up out of her seat , Hope , Hope wake up. Hope look at me, it's Kayla
Doug, Julie and Bo enter the room , Doug and Julie are shocked to see Hope reacting the way she is , Bo holds them back as kayla tries to get through to a confused Hope
Kayla - Hope , focus on my voice , I want you to slowly look around the room , where are you
Hope - with tears in her eyes Hope slowly starts to look at her surroundings , Hope sees the dungeon through the cell bars , she hears Kaylas voice telling her to focus , she keeps turning her head until her eyes meet Bos and she sees she's at the hospital , Hope quickly looks away , not wanting to see the look in Bos eyes , she feels ashamed
Kayla - do you know where you are ?
Hope - slowly nods her head and calms , she pulls the blanket up to her hands and starts twisting it nervously between both hands
Then quietly she says no more sedative , I , I couldn't wake up , he was coming at me and I couldn't wake up , no more sedative
Kayla - ok, ok honey , no more sedatives , im.sorry honey , I tried to wake you
Hope - nods at kayla, still twisting the blanket nervously in her hands
Kayla - you must be hungry , I know the staff at this fine establishment , let me get you something to eat
Hope - looking at the blanket as she twists it in her hands , im not hungry .
Kayla - well you have to eat something , I'll get you the finest meal they have from cafeteria , I can even bring you some chocolate cake !
Hope - smiles slightly at Kayla
Kayla - did you notice your dad and Julie are here with Bo , they are going to stay with you while i go get you that cake !
Hope - quickly glances at Bo , Doug and Julie , then back down at the blanket
Kayla , ok Hope ?
Hope - nods yes as she twists the blanket in between her hands nervously
Kayla - ok , do you guys want anything
Julie - could you get Doug and I a coffee , Bo How about you
Bo - yeah coffee sounds good , oh Kay steves in your office catching some sleep
Kayla - ok I'll let him sleep , and I'll be right back With those coffees. And the best meal and chocolate cake the hospital cafeteria has to offer, kayla winks at Hope as she leaves
Bo motions for Julie to sit in the chair and Doug and Bo stand behind her all 3 look concerned
Julie - oh darling , we were so worried about you
Doug , yes we were , my Princess
Hope - doesn't hear doiug calling her princess , she hears Larry saying princess over and over again , Hope puts the blanket down and covers her ears , she starts crying don't call me that ! Don't call me that !!!! Stop it !!!! As she pulls her knees up to herself and starts rocking back and forth she repeats don't call me that over and over
Doug , and Julie look on shocked as to what they said wrong , as Bo slowly moves towards Hope , not sure of what to do
Salem police dept temporary holding cell
Larry is asleep as Rafe comes in and bangs on the cell bars waking Larry up
Larry - blinks his eyes open and slowly sits up , commissioner , how nice it is to see you
Rafe - I have a couple questions for you
Larry - I won't be answering any questions without my lawyer preset
Rafe - your arraignment is in a couple hours , I'd like to know something before that
Larry - I won't be talking to you about your dear wife
Rafe - I never said the question was regarding Hope Welch
Larry - oh I hit a nerve I see
Rafe - will you shut the hell up I have 1 question for you.and I'd like an answer
Larry - well that depends on what the question is
Rafe - I had the tunnels searched before they were sealed , how did you get in the tunnels after that
Larry - laughs what says I got in the tunnels after they were sealed
Rafe - your saying you were in them before they were sealed ?
Larry - not all that bright are you.
Rafe - just Answer the damn question
Larry - I never saw any one searching the tunnels, does that answer your question
Rafe so you were there the entire time befire they were searched and sealed
Larry - bingo ! You Salem PD really do a bang up job
Rafe - turns away from Larry and walks away thinking to himself Victor was right
