"Malik! Could you please get your daughter ready before you be one less of a child" I yelled while Milan looked at me laughing
"No mommy!" She said laughing
She was giving me a very hard time while I was trying to get her ready for daycare while I was trying to go to work but my stomach was now too big to really be messing with her bad ass
"I got her you go get ready mamas" He said coming into the room giving me a kiss before turning back to her "You over here giving mommy a hard time huh?"
"Na uh! Milan was good girl" She said to him as he laughed and kissed her
I smiled looking at them knowing that we were able to overcome all of the obstacles faced and work everything out made me happy that we are here now, engaged with a 4 year old and one on the way.
We were living my very fairytale and I was happy we were able to leave all of that stuff behind us.
"Baby I'll take her to daycare" I heard behind me as I turned around
"You sure?? You know I could I know you have to be at work"
"Girl yeah stop allat shit and go do what you gotta do cause you lucky I'm letting you make these runs knowing you due anyday now. Should be on bed rest" He said mumbling that last part as I playfully rolled my eyes
"Well thank you, I'll be home later and I'll text you about dinner!" I said kissing him
I walked inside of the school building as my coworkers greeted me as I walked into the office seeing the principal frowned looking at me
"Heffa what the hell is you doing here? You on maternity leave go home!" She said causing me to laugh
Gabby or Ms. Jackson was young like me. Her dad own hella schools and she of course became principal of one of them. She's young so of course she's going to act like it but when it came to her job and discipline she did what she had to do.
School teachers weren't no better than the students when it came to gossiping. She was cool as hell though basically my work bestie.
"I had to make sure my kids weren't giving my subs a hard time you know how bad they get" I said chuckling as she nodded
"Oh I know she just called for Louis again. That boy gone be the death of this school" She said shaking her head
Louis was my favorite student yet most bad one.
"I know, I have more work for them to due I wanted to bring to her so Im only stopping by to do that and leaving"
"Good because that baby gone drop any day now and you over here standing-
"Ms. Jackson a fight breaking out at lunch! A 5th and 6th grader" One of the administrators yelled through a walkie as Gabby shook her head responding back
"You go handle that" I said laughing
"Yeah yeah, I need a damn drink" She said walking passed me as I followed going the opposite way towards the pre-k though 3rd grade hall
