So as a high school student, I've been considering publishing a novel for quite some time. I have plenty more time in my life to do other things, but I would love to attempt to publish at least one novel. However, as I am a minor, and as I will be a debut author, it would be nearly impossible for me to do so. I have noticed how much many of you readers seem to enjoy Brilliant, so I propose an idea:

If I were to publish Brilliant, albeit a few differences (such as omitting the lines from Sherlock because of copyright issues, but the entire story would mainly remain the same) would any of you buy a copy? Normally, I don't ask for a reply on my author's notes questions, but the more responses I receive, the more likely it will be that Brilliant will get published, as I will present the responses to publishers to prove that people do actually want to read what I write, and despite being in high school, I can publish a novel. In fact, 98% of Brilliant was written in three and a half months for an English project. So - would buy a copy?
