The Curious Family: A New Legacy

Prologue

Jace POV:
It's been 2 weeks since my grandma died. She was suffering from Alzheimer's and she went into a stroke and she didn't live long after. The pain is awful. All I done was drank the day immediately after she died cause I already had lost my mom and I drank in 1999. and I remember it got so bad.. that things could've gotten worse

Flash back to October 2nd, 2004
Jace had come back from a night of heavy drinking at the bar and Miranda is having her arms crossed and looking at Jace a stern way
"W..What the fuck do you want?!" Jace said slurred
"Did.. you fixed me dinner? Cause oooh boy! Hehe! I need some food!"
"Jace.. look I know we are roommates but ever since you've lost your mom, you drank that night, came home drunk and now it's the same again. Why?"
"L-Listen here, Miranda! I.. look.. My l-life's been." Jace hiccups "Hell.. if I lose someone I drink!.. yeah...!" Jace chuckles
"Jace you need to drink water and go to bed! I'm worried about you.. we've been roommates for a long time and you need to get therapy.. your lucky you aren't aggressive or anything or I may have called the cops."
Jace then sits down and looks at the ground
"Miranda.. please... I need help.. I.. hate how my life is! I lost a lot I loved and and-."
"It's okay.. that's why I'm taking you to Inaya Griffin. Naomi's daughter. She took a class to become a therapist and I heard she's a lot better and helpful."
"Alright.. I will.. thank you.."

Jace POV:
That's when I went. Inaya said I had bipolar disorder and gave me medicine to help me feel better. It was a improvement but there were days I was just sad. A few weeks ago, my fiancé Pascal asked me to move in with him and his brothers I accepted it. Today I officially moved in with them. To be honest their house is amazing. Though there's a thing of staircases but it's to look at the stars with a telescope. Which is more nice. But gotta be careful you don't wanna be abducted by aliens.

October 20th, 2004
Today was the day Jace has officially moved in and Jace sits down on the bed, kinda have a sad look
Pascal goes up to  Jace and a sits beside them
"Hey is everything okay?" Pascal asked
"Yeah..I'm  Just glad to be here with you. If I didn't I may have been dead or something."
"Well let's not think about that! Okay? Hey you wanna just take a lazy day today? You have work tomorrow and I wanna spend the day with you."
"That's fine. Let's do that."

In the living room, Jace and Pascal are reading a baby book on baby names and care
"So are you excited to have the alien baby?"
"Yeah.. I am. I can't wait for the little one to come."
"Same here. What's the names you thought for the baby?"
"Well if it's a girl or boy, it'll be named Tycho. I just like the name."
"Same here too."
Then Lazlo and Vidcund come in from work
"We are home!" Vidcund yelled
"And we got pizza!" Lazlo said as he put the pizza down on the counter
Everyone goes to the counter and grabs a slice of pizza

"So how was work?" Pascal asked
"Ugh, Loki Just him thinking he can be better then anyone. Also he took my African violets flower pot today and used it for an experiment." Vidcund said shaking his head
"Work for me was alright. Just chatted with Erin and .."
"Discussing how to get a case in the Olive Spector garden?" Both Jace and Lazlo said. They both work in the paranormal career
"Yeah. I just wanna see and know why those victims are buried in her yard." Jace said
"Yeah.. to be honest I feel bad for her but then again, what really goes on there?" Vidcund asked
"No idea. That's why I wanna know." Lazlo said
"Well maybe one day we will get the case."
They then continue to eat

Later Jace comes into the bedroom where they and Pascal are in and Jace puts on their pajama which consist of boxer shorts and a shirt with an alien on it
Jace lays down on the bed  and puts their face on the pillow and Pascal comes in and lays beside them
"Your first night here. How are you liking it?"
"It's great." Jace said muffled on pillow
"Jace you sure?"
"Yeah... Pascal?"
"Yeah?"
Jace then sits up on the bed
"What if my life doesn't get better? It was great until my mom died.."
"Hey hey.." Pascal pulls Jace in for a cuddle
"I'm sure things will be okay. Look, your life will get better. We are having a child and they'll be here soon and we will get married and continue with our careers and family."
"Thank you, Pascal."
They kiss him on the cheek
"Cmon let's mess around for a bit." Pascal said as he blushed
"Maybe tomorrow.. I'm tired.."
"Yeah we should just go to sleep anyway. It's getting late and you have work tomorrow. Hey do you think this week you can come with me to my pregnancy class?"
"Sure! Why not?"
"Ah sweet. It's this Friday at 1pm."
"Alright I'll see what I can do."
They then get under the covers and Jace spoons Pascal and they both fell asleep

Jace POV
You know what? My life may not suck after all! I'm going to be a mother to an alien baby and I'm getting married soon. I think my life will be getting better soon..
