Chapter 49 - Husband Material?

Dana's pov -

It's been busy, It's been at least two hour— almost two; since Bella have been with us. She's been very happy. At first she was a little shy around Grey but slowly adapted to him.

And very surprisingly he was very sweet with her. I don't know how to describe it but he was so calm and sweet around her it almost made me feel jealous.

I know! I can't be jealous of a child and I shouldn't even be jealous in the first place since..he's a man— well he pecked the corner of my lips so I don't even know what's between us.

But it's a bit fighting yet exciting at the same time. I shouldn't be playing with fire but I feel like I can't do anything, and it's like my body started to repels from, 'stop its haram!' But instead its yearning for more..?

I'm not quite sure yet but I've observed for awhile now.

He's so sweet to her I wonder if he actually like children. It's exotic to think about this because I never got the chance to ever think he had a soft spot or shall I find it.

He does have a soft spot but it's not me.

I wanna say, 'good' so bad but it's really what I want to say anymore.

We've went to one place so far and it's the movies, she wanted to a see move and of course we took her. She got to watch the third frozen movie.

She wanted to watch the third newest Bell and the Beast movie but i want her to explore more places she'll love.

We currently got into the car and she sat down on my lap. We don't have a car seat and I want her to sit in the front, Grey denied and told me to place her in the back but I could care less.

She's perfectly fine, what will the police arrest her?? Like bffr grey

He had the audacity to argue with me. No no sir, you don't do that. It's completely useless because I know I was wrong 10 minutes ago but i don't want to admit anything so I'll keep going till the other person gives up.

Nah uh.

Oh yeah— Bella hasn't called me Mommy infront of Grey yet so I'm a bit nervous when that slips out of her mouth.

I'm not scared, just nervous because she hasn't said that in front of anyone so it'll be the first.

"Can we go to the park wafi." Bella's tiny voice spoke out breaking the uncomfortable silence in the car.

She calls Grey, 'wafi' because it's hard for her to say Rafael but it's adorable. Rafael hasn't said anything about it either.

Which is surprising.

"Mhm." Grey replied focused on driving. Bella's head leaned against my chest while she stared outside. I smiled and placed my hands around her, lightly rubbing her arm.

"We can get food afterwards. What do you what?" I whispered near her and she looked up and put her thinking face on. Then her face lit up and she clenched her fists full with hyper.

"Pizza!" She yelled out making me slightly startled but I smiled and nodded. "Sure."

This feels all nice.

Once I see the park comes in view, my eyes gather to all the parents sitting on the benching or helping their child play.

I hope Bella doesn't get scared to play with the other kids. I put on her small bucket hat so she doesn't catch a cold but she moved her head away. "Later." She said pouting. Gosh I'm so bad.
