Summer Walker blast through my hair shop as I did my last clients hair

" Omg girl you did your thanggg" She said smiling

" Thank you, you know I got to put it down for my clients now stay still lemme take your photo" I said smiling

" Hey sis imma need the car I'm going on a date" Elara said

" You go come pick me up, you what nevermind enjoy your date I can walk" I said smiling

" You sure, you know these streets been rough these past few months with that serial killer running around " she said

" Girl I be fine you know Jesus ln my side " I said

" Amen, hallelujah" she said acting like she in spirit

" Girl get yah ass out ha" I said and she laughed leaving the store

I checked the time at saw that it was 10pm

I continued cleaning up and wiping the shop

By the time I was done I was done it was 12pm

I grabbed my bag and keys and turned the lights off

I turned and locked the door and walked down the streets

" I should have brought a jacket with me it's cold as hell" I muttered

I tucked my hair behide my ear as I walked down the dark street

Of course the damn street lights ain't fucking working

While I was walking I heard footsteps behide me

Oh lord Jesus tonight my night ain't it

Atleast let my family find my body

Lord I ain't ready to go I ain't got my kids yet

I turned my head slightly seeing a dark figure with a black hoodie over there head, their eyes oh the ground

" Please stop following me " I said nervously speeding walking

The male chuckled before looking and the one lit streetlight made me see his face

He ain't ugly lord, why is it always the cute ones

" What do you want" I said still walking

" Hmmm let's see, you" he said snickering

" What's your name sweet girl" he said again this time grabbing my hand

" Please let me go" I said tears in my eyes

" No need to cry I won't hurt you atleast not yet, now tell me your name and you can walk free" He said

" Esme, my name is Esme" I said nervously

" Pretty name for a gorgeous girl" he said letting me go

He motioned his hand for me to go

I quickly walked away but heard him say

" I will be seeing you again soon" he said before disappearing in the dark

Oh great heavens

What a fucking night

I glanced over my shoulder as unlocked my apartment door, i quickly went inside and locked the door behide me exhaling a breath

Oh god you know I love you so much right now

Finna take my ass to church
