in which 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 & 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁 held an unexplainable antagonism towards each other. there was no actual escalation for this to happen, it has just always been like this ever since they were kids.
dumb, witty remarks, pointless fights, glares, scoffs, sighs, annoyance, anger, hatred, screaming, unnecessary commentary- those were normal everyday things they did to remind themselves they do not like each other one bit.
but- there was always a certain the tension between them, though; those unmissable lingering touches and secret glances were there beyond doubt, but both matt and madelina managed to accomplish denying the undeniable.
but maybe, just maybe, the fact that one of them was actually very aware of the tension, that and the fact that there was an unexpected kiss shared between them at a party has to mean something, right?
wrong. in their eyes it mean absolutely nothing- a mistake, that's what they liked to call it.
