Day slowly opened his eyes when he felt his arm shake. He saw Itt's father standing beside the bed.

"Your time is running out," said his father in a low voice. Day looked at Itt's sleeping face before slowing climbing out of bed without Itt noticing.

"Hopefully you will follow through with what we agreed upon," Itt's father said in a low voice.

"Yes," Day replied.

"Don't be angry with me... I am doing this for my son," Itt's father said again. Day remained silent. His eyes were on Itt who was sleeping in the bed without any knowledge of this.

"Take care of Itt for me too," Day said.

"I will take care of my son for both of us. Thank you for agreeing to do what I asked," Itt's father said back before Day walked out of the room. Itt's father turned to look at his son with still eyes.

"I hope you are not angry with me. I did this for you, Itt," Itt's father mumbles softly.

Early Morning...

Itt woke up, feeling a slight tremble in his heart when he didn't see Day lying beside him. When he saw his mother sitting next to him, he just assumed Day went back to his room thinking Itt no longer needed him there.

"Are you awake? You need to get up, wash your face and brush your teeth. Do you need my help?" Itt's mother quickly asked when she saw her son open his eyes to wake up.

"Papa," Itt immediately asked her about his father because he didn't see him in the room.

"Papa went to the store. He will be back in a little while," Itt's mother replied.

"Mother, can I go see Day?" Itt asked his mother. Itt's mother froze a bit.

"I told you that you needed to wash your face and brush your teeth. You need to do this first so that you can eat and take your medicine," his mother said, making Itt sigh slightly before getting out of bed to do what he was told. After he was done washing his face and brushing his teeth, he came out and sat back on the bed.

"Has Nick been back?" Itt asked his mother, looking for his best friend.

"No, I haven't seen him. Only Gear and Four have been here," said Itt's mother. Itt frowned in confusion, but he didn't ask any more questions. When his mother brought in a bowl of rice, Itt couldn't eat much. He ate what he could before taking some medicine.

Knock... Knock... Knock... Knock...

Someone was knocking on the door. Itt quickly looked up in hopes that it would be Day coming to find him. He was disappointed to see it was his two friends, Gear and Four, instead.

"Hello, Mom," Gear and Four raised their hands to greet Itt's mother and show her respect. Itt's mother nodded and smiled before sitting on the sofa to let Gear and Four talk to Itt.

"How are you?" Gear asked, smiling.

"I'm not dead," Itt replied.

"Your wound looks better... Does it hurt?" Gear asked again.

"Well, a little bit. I was just scratched. It didn't pierce my body... like it did Day," Itt's face darkened a bit when he talked about Day. Gear and Four looked at each other, but they didn't say anything.

"When you get out of the hospital, I think I'll take you on vacation for a few nights. Are you interested?" Four said, changing the subject.

"I'll wait for Day to get out of the hospital too," Itt said. Itt's mother looked at his child, but she didn't say anything.
