Are you ready for the start? Not long to wait now... in the meantime, we thought we might share a few basic rules here.
🍭 the SmackDown runs over several rounds
🍭 each round, a given number of participants will be eliminated
🍭 each round will be split in two parts
🍭 for one part, the task will be to write a short story
🍭 for the second part, you will be asked to write something different(ish)
🍭 both parts will be judged and the scores added for round results
🍭 there may be bonus tasks that allow you to win an extra point
🍭 if needed, there might be tiebreaker rounds
🍭 your stories must be written in English (unless an exception applies)
🍭 all stories and other entires must be new and written for this contest
🍭 judges remain anonymous, their decisions will be final
🍭 while this is a competition, don't forget to also have fun
🍭 please help us create a spirit of positive collegiality
🍭 you may support each other and cheer each other on
