closing twitter i said in my passenger seat thinking .
i was off that lean early tbis morning .
i left kole house about an hour ago , i knew she was gone mad af by the time she got up.
feeling but not hearing my phone ring i picked it up.
mommsss mobile ...
i answered it ..
" hey ky'mier " my mommas voice came through the speaker
" wsp momma " i said starting my car up
my momma was the only female in my life i knew i could count on .
" how you been baby ?" she asked as i pulled out the random parkin lot
" im good ma , you ?" i say
" im good , where you headed so early now ?" she asked
" home " i said truthfully
" mier mier , i know you not back dranking that stuff boy ." she said with worry in her voice
my momma knew how i was ..
" ma , i promise it was a slip up ." i said because i knew to never lie to my ma
" you know that that stuff does to you ! " she said yelling through the phone
" if your having a hard time you need to talk to somebody ky'mier ." she said
" them drugs ain't gone help you ." she said
" ma " i said before getting cut off
i ran through a red light not even paying attention
i seen a red truck flying at me in the corner of my eye .
before i knew it i seen nothing but black .
" ky'mier ! , ky'mier !" i heard my momma repeatedly yell .

" ky'mier gossett , what room is he in ?" i asked the nurse at the front desk .
" baby he's not accepting visitors right now but you are more than welcome to sit in the lobby ." she said
i looked over and seen my cousins and friends .
i went over to sit by ray'len .
i could tell she had been crying .
shit it looked like everybody had been crying .
everyone was here .. except kole the so called girlfriend ...
" KY'MIER ?" i heard a lady yelling at the front desk
i looked over seeing a elderly looking lady .
" that's my son and i want to know where he is !?" she yelled
i felt so bad for her .. i got up making my way over to her .
" hi .. i'm ky'mier's girlfriend .. well ex .. sorta " i said making her look at me as i touched her shoulder
" i know exactly who you are." she said pulling me into a hug .
" baby , how is he ?" she said as we both embraced the hug.
" i don't know i just got the news about a few mins ago , the doctors ain't saying nothing yet ."
" i know my baby's a fighter ." she said as she let the hug go
i just nodded .
we finally walked over to the lobby area sitting down with everyone else .
kole showed up about 30 mins later
we waited for about an hour .

" family of gosset ? " the doctor stood in front of me as everyone else slept
" that's us !" i semi yelled
everybody slowly woke up ..
" mr gosset is very lucky .. the way the car hit him could've made things way worse for him . " he started
" but , he came out with just a couple of injury's .. his left leg is broke and he also has some bruise's to his spine ." he says
" but there aren't any brain damages , no paralyzation or any life time changes " he said making me sallow a very large lump i didn't know i was holding in .
