It was the next day after what had happened to Seabrook Power Plant. It was just a normal school day for the teenagers but some of the students weren't in a cheery mood like Seabrook usually is. School ended for the day so kids were packing their belongings or leaving the schools ground
Aurelia was by her locker putting things away before going home. She heard movement beside her so when she went to look she saw Wyatt leaning to the lockers beside hers. She looks around the empty hallway before glancing back at the wolf "Wyatt, you know we can't be seen together" She looks down at his hands as he spoke up
"Don't worry, I've already checked the halls" The boy assured her with a toothy grin "And the guitar?" She pointed out the instrument in his hands "This is for later" He responded, Aurelia looks at him confused "Later?"
Wyatt reached for his back pocket from his pants, pulling out a folded piece of paper "Here. It's a list of things most don't know about me" Aurelia carefully grabbed the paper from his hands after pulling a piece of hair behind her ear. She unfolded the paper and rapidly read the list, she looks behind her and folded the paper back as it was once she heard a noise behind her. She handed the paper back to him
"I really got to go. Bucky's waiting for me. I'm sorry"
As she was about to walk away, he grabbed her hand halting her from moving "Wait. Give me like three minutes" Wyatt pleaded still holding her hand, Aurelia looks down at their hands, feeling the same feeling as always when they touch. She never figured out why she felt that singular shock every time. She sighed before closing her locker door, shifting her weight to her right leg. Wyatt started to play the guitar
"I'm, I'm good at wastin' time" Wyatt started, singing softly, his hoarse voice made her smile softly "I think lyrics need to rhyme and you're not askin' but I'm tryin' to grow a mustache" Aurelia laughs at his lyrics covering her mouth with her hands, Wyatt smiles at her as he continued " I eat cheese, but only on pizza, please and sometimes on a homemade quesadilla. Otherwise, it smells like feet to me"
"And I, I really like it when the moon looks like a toenail And I love it when you say my name" At this point of this song, Aurelia was smiling too hard that her cheeks were starting to hurt. Her phone started to ring, she faced the screen to herself, a picture of Bucky was showing. She turned around from the werewolf and started to walk away but he stayed behind her, filling her and still playing the guitar. Aurelia muted the ringing by pressing her volume button "If you wanna know, here it goes-gonna tell you there's a part of me that shows if we're close gonna let you see everything"
Wyatt manage to stay in front of her stopping Aurelia from walking any further "But remember that you asked for it"
Aurelia smiled at him knowingly "I'll try to do my best to impress but it's easier to let you take a guess at the rest-but you wanna hear what lives in my brain and my heart-well, you asked for it"
"For your perusin'; at times confusin' slightly amusin', introducing me. Do-do, do-do-do-do-do, Do-do, do-do-do-do-do, La-da-da-da, La-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, da" Aurelia's phone rang once again, snapping her back to reality after looking at Wyatt for too long with a smile. She walked past the boy, she looks behind her at him. Wyatt made it beside her
"I never trust a dog to watch my food and I like to use the word "dude" as a noun or an adverb or an adjective" As they continued down the hall Wyatt made it in front of Aurelia once again stopping both of them "And I, I never really been into cars. I like really cool guitars" He looks down at the instrument he's playing and then back at Aurelia with a turn "and superheroes and checks with lots of zeros on 'em"
"I love the sound of violins and makin' someone smile. If you wanna know, here it goes-gonna tell you there's a part of me that shows if we're close gonna let you see everything, but remember that you asked for it"
"I'll try to do my best to impress, but it's easier to let you take a guess at the rest-but you wanna hear what lives in my brain and my heart-well, you asked for it" The two stared at each other with goofy smiles. Aurelia pushes some hair back behind her ear
"For your perusin'; at times confusin', Possibly amusin', introducing me. Well, you probably, know more than you ever wanted to, So be careful when you ask next time" Aurelia's phone was blowing up with text messages now so she continued her walk, texting Bucky back in a rush, Wyatt trailing behind her. They were closer to the main entrance.
"So, if you wanna know, here it goes-gonna tell you there's a part of me that shows if we're close gonna let you see everything, but remember, that you asked for it" The two made it to the double doors, and walked out of the school. Bucky was in his truck, the one that has his face on it. When he looks up from his phone and out the window he finally saw his baby sister but he also saw that Wyatt was beside her. So, he got out of the vehicle and stomped his way to the two. Aurelia nor Wyatt saw him as the Wolf continued to sing
"I'll try to do my best to impress, but it's easier to let you take a guess at the rest-but you wanna hear what lives in my brain and my heart," Aurelia stopped walking, this time stood in front of Wyatt with a bright smile, her back facing Bucky
"Well, you asked for it. For your perusin', at times confusin' Hopefully amusin', introducing me. Do-do, do-do-do-do-do, Do-do, do-do-do-do-do, Do-do-do-do, Introducing me" When he finished the song Bucky appeared behind Aurelia with his hands on his hips, Unbeknownst to the girl, she stayed smiling at the wolf. Her eyes shifted quickly to his lips then back to his eyes. Wyatt looked away from Aurelia, his smile faltered as he saw Bucky
"Aurelia" Bucky's voice made Aurelia jump a few inches from the ground and quickly turned around, her long black hair almost hitting both boys. She faces her brother, and he says nothing but gestures for her to follow him. She glances back at Wyatt "Go back to the den and take care of the others" She told him, She took the piece of paper he gave her earlier "I'll see you later" She promised and gave him one last smile of the day before turning around and followed Bucky to his truck
"What did we talk about?" Asked Bucky, being the first thing he said to his sister as they both made it to the side of his car "I'm allowed to have friends, Bucky" Aurelia crossed her arms with an eyes roll, already annoyed with him "Not when they are werewolves. They're killing machines, Aurelia. You can't like them" Bucky remarks, his hands on her shoulders
Aurelia removes his hands from her "You're a little too late. They are my friends and I like them. Deal with it" She told him cavalierly "You can't!" He shrieks lowly "They are dangerous monsters! I'm just trying to protect you"
"I do not need your protection" Aurelia seethed, Bucky sighed and tried to place a hand on her shoulders once again but she shrugged him off "Aurelia, my lovely baby sister," Aurelia scoffed at his starter "That's my job as an older brother. I cannot let people think my baby sister liking those filthy dogs. I mean, what are they gonna say? What are they gonna think of me?"
"Oh, my, god!" Aurelia let out a cry, her hand dragging down her face with her eyes closed, her fingers dragging down from her forehead to her inner eyes (Just like Tara did in Scream 6 y'all) trying to calm herself down "Do you not hear yourself, Bucky? You are so freaking self-centered. All you care is about your image here and what people are gonna think of you! I am so tired of that Bullshit. Those who you call "filthy dogs" are my friends. They have feelings just like you do if you actually have any!" Aurelia air quotes with her fingers on the words 'Filthy dogs'
"Can you for once, in your life, stop thinking about yourself and think of others? God, Bucky, get your head out of your ass!" Aurelia turned around from Bucky and walked off, not getting in his pink truck "W-where are you going?" Bucky asks after her, stuttering a bit
