A REWRITE THAT TOOK 5 YEARS
Girl in Gold is the rewritten version of Two Gangs and a Golden Girl. Not edited. Rewritten. It took me about 7 rewrites in total, countless hours of editing, and ultimately 5 years to finish this project.
This is very different from the original version of the story. New characters, new events, and more in-depth world-building. For example, we have scrapped the gang part of the book and replaced it with our very own criminal organisation called the dynast. It's a mafia-inspired system with a touch of royalty. The dynast has its own laws and systems by which everyone must play by, making a more engaging scenario for our characters.
Don't worry though. This rewrite still keeps many of the charming scenes which made a lot of you fall in love with the series in the first place.

As a last bit here, I would just like to thank everyone who has been on my journey. Actually, this has been our journey. From the first day I uploaded Two Gangs and a Golden Girl and I had 20 people reading the series. I would never have come this far without each and every one of you. I understand I have been coming and going a lot. But there is no running anymore. The book has an official publishing date and I'm working on the sequel.
I understand if some of you do not wish to be with me anymore. We have all grown up and maybe grown apart. I still love all of you. You kept me going. However, for new readers and anyone still interested, this is only the start. We have a whole journey ahead. So, get ready and enjoy the ride.
