Non-binary is a term used by some individuals to describe a gender identity that falls outside of the conventional male or female binaries, or having no gender at all. To fully comprehend this topic, it is essential to acknowledge that sex and gender are distinct concepts. For instance, a person may be born with female genitalia but identify as a man. Being Non-binary could mean you identify as a gender outside of the male and female binaries, identifying with many or even all genders, identifying somewhere between male and female or a mix of both, or not having a gender at all.
