I'm closing this book with a clear mind
The tear that dropped wrote this as a sign
As everyone applauded with joy and laughter
There will never be a happily ever after

Storm clouds are forming inside the moonlit room
I surrender my fears and rather get sick by gloom
I closed my eyes, but I only saw you stare
And when I open it, I see nightmares

Something from you is glued to me
A flashback from the past, an unwritten history
Something is unjustified, unclarified, or not right
A permanent scar was left behind by the rain that night

There was happiness in thunder and lightning
Happiness, who took the pain away from me
Isn't it cool that I don't need any testimony and witness
Just happiness inside this heart
A whole dream, a piece of me you tore apart

There's happiness, and I'll search for betterment
I'll look for the significance
I'll fix things, including myself
Happiness is about me
Not about us, again
