"Bye, Flash! See you tomorrow!" I said to my boyfriend, Flash.
"Bye!"
Then, I gently closed the door, because I thought Spike was asleep, but it turns out I was wrong.
"Hey, Twilight?"
"Yeah?" I asked, with clear concern. What if this about that letter I wrote him?
"I need some advice. It's about, uh, dating."
"Spike, I know you like Rarity, but-" I said, until I was rudely cut off.
"No, I'm not wanting to ask Raity out. I want to ask out Apple Jack."
"Really? Uh, well, I guess we best not tell Rarity."
Look, I know Spike doesn't know it, and Rarity would never admit it, but she has feelings for Spike.
That's why he can't date her. She won't admit it. It'll hurt both of them.
"Well, I was going to ask her out tomorrow."
"Okay, Spike. Go ahead."
I can't stop him. He'll do it anyway. But, he needs to talk to Rarity.
