Karun POV:

When I reached at base I saw our group of 5 assembled with our head speaking animatedly giving instructions.
I noticed some Lycans are already stood watching. There are more Lycans than before and I understand it's for kings safety measure. They all look intimidating with 6 ft high and solid build. You can see their power rolling off them providing dangerous vibe around anyone who is inferior to them.
" Karun stop staring and come here." I shook my head moving towards my head.

" Good morning." I simply wished and stood stiff with my hands behind my back and head high.
He just nodded.

" Okay guys you three leave. Karun and Jacob you heard about king's arrival. We know Lycans are good enough to protect themselves but as a protocol we needed here. So you stand by second entrance and watch for anything suspicious. When he arrives don't look at his eyes." He instructed what to do and what not to do . We listened attentively because we don't know what he is capable of.

After that he dismissed us. We both walked towards second entrance and stood there watching everything like hawk. Two Lycans are already posted before us and being near them made me anxious.

I jumped on hearing growl. " Stop fidgeting. I can smell your anxiety." He said in his deep voice.

" Iam sorry." I said turning away. Sometimes I wonder what's the use of human in security service when they are best at speed strength and sensing things.

Jacob smiled at me which relaxed me a little. We heard heavy footsteps and became stiff. The lycan near us stood still. That means he is here.

The King is here .

I don't know why but I felt my heart go badaboom with every step he took. I gulped lowering My head to avoid eye contact. Suddenly everything became quite which is so uncomfortable. Seconds later a pair of polished boots stood before me and smell mixed with fresh forest and cigar floated around me.

Oh My God. Is this him? Why is he standing here. I fidgeted even before I look at him. The power that radiating from him is nothing I have felt before. It's like whiplash. Pure Alpha male. I gasped feeling constricted. Damn did I do anything wrong?

" It's you." He growled crushing the cigar under his boots. I shivered on hearing his voice but oddly it felt so pleasant I clenched my thigh together. Damn I felt the vibration there.
I heard him sniff and he growled again lifting my chin.

I look at his eyes which is flickering between violet and silver. I felt a shudder in spine.
He smirked at me letting me go. He observed me head to toe which gave me a chance to look at him properly.
Damn did I thought these Lycans are gorgeous?! He is otherworldly anyway he is from other world but still can't explain how beautiful he is.  His black hair is long which is tied back in pony which is damn hot and the cut on his right side eyebrow is enough to cream my pants. His nose is so straight and his lips are full and upper one slightly covered with moustache which is so sexy.
I gulped already feeling hot. Tattoos are peeking and teasing me at his necks base.
He cleared his throat making me snap my eyes at him.
He smirked catching me checking him out. I cursed myself internally. I bit my lips feeling embarrassed.

He caught my lips freeing it from my teeth. I gasped loudly feeling fire pass through my body. I nearly moaned at his touch. Iam still wondering why Iam so sensitive by his look and touch.

" What's your name human?!" He asked in his deep voice making my heart stutter. I cleared my throat. I shouldn't look like some weak girl. So I returned back to my professional tone trying to keep my head away from gutter.

" Karun." I replied in my professional tone which has slight shiver if you noticed closely but he is Lycan king.
He chuckled backing away mumbling my name. He nodded looking back at me.

" I will see you soon." He whispered in my ear inhaling deeply. I gulped leaning away. He raised his brow at this.
He leaned back and started to walk away without single glance back.

Phew...

" That was intense." Jacob said patting my shoulder.
I slumped my shoulder nodding at him.

"I think he is puzzled seeing a female here." I said reasoning his behaviour but my conscience denied it.

" That's lame excuse." The lycan near us said rolling his eyes.
I just ignored walking away. My head informed to wander around garden and watch. He knows how much I like it there. So he assigned me there. I removed my jacket placing it on bench in garden and gave once over before relaxing on seat. Its so hot so I removed some top two buttons just above my cleavage.
The gentle breeze on my skin felt so good I hummed in delight closing my eyes leaning back with my hand on back head.

" Relaxing on duty. I see" I jerked on hearing the familiar voice.

I stood up on seeing King stood there with slight smirk adorning his sexy lips. I licked my lips clearing my throat looking away.

" Iam sorry sir." I said bowing down.

" No need to apologise. Come sit with me." He said already sitting with my jacket on his lap.
I thought how would it feel to sit on his lap grinding on his thigh. I felt myself turning on just by the thought. I shook my head looking at him. He sniffs the air releasing a breathy groan.

" You know Lycans have strong sense to smell anything. You can name it fear,Sad,happy,......arousal" He finished sniffing again.

Did he mean he know iam aroused. Oh God .....
But I remained like statue not knowing what to reply.
He got up walking towards me like a predator he is. I gulped walking backwards and got cornered by nearby wall of the building.

He stopped just inches away from me. He caged me by placing his two muscled hand on either side of my head towering me.

" And yours smell like exotic fruits.All I want is to drink that until you ran dry of your juice." He said making me gasp. I felt my panties got drenched completely just by hearing that. I squirmed at the unbearable feeling inbetween my legs. His eyes flickered to silver. He leaned towards me licking my ear shell making me let out a mewl. I clasped my hand on my mouth to stop the sound.

" I love that sound and don't ever hide it from me. My Mate." He finished pulling my wrist and placing it above my head.
