This is a re-imagination of a story I grew up listening to. Not only is it one of my all time favorites, with a strong female lead, but it's also a story many of you have likely heard. While I will not name the story so as to not distract you from what I'm imagining here, I would like to add that in the original story there is not much information on the male lead so I will take some liberty with that and exploring how I imagine he would be.
