The Kingdom of Meruacevia is a monarchy, but the social class system dividing nobles and commoners is almost gone at this point. However, titles such as "Master", "Lady", and "Lord" and other remains of the class system still exist
Children of the upper class families are required to attend the Royal Academy of Dalincourt between the ages of 15-18. Y/N entered at 15 and graduated at sixteen due to her being on the fast track.
The Serenity Manor consists of two buildings, the Annex and the Main Building. The Annex was the original home of the Serenity family and where Y/N grew up but they soon had a new building (the main building) built to meet their needs for more space. There is a bridge that connects the two and Serena and Y/N are the only people allowed into the annex aside from a small number of cleaning staff whom of which were positioned by Y/N.

When the social class system began to fall apart Iansa gave up her noble status and turned to business and many former noble families followed her. The Grayan family did the same and created a construction business
