this one is rlly short so i might add a 2nd story onto it later thats similar to this concept

the elevator finally arrived at a dimly lit subway, energetic music playing despite the grungy tiles and brick. poob skipped into the elevator, which already occupied gnarpy and pest, who both seemed to enjoy the silence but not really eachothers presence. poob immediately greeted pest and started blowing their party horn, earning a grimace from pest but thats about it.
"oh my GOD ZHUT UP you annoying ZEEBLOiNG. zhat IZNT NECEZZARY." gnarpy growled out seemingly out of nowhere, directed to poob
"wuh y so mean??" they frowned, losing their energy quickly.
"just ZHUT UP! it waz ZO QUIET before YOU!" xe scowled, tail lashing
poob slumped to the floor, mindlessly picking at their hoodie hem. though pest wasnt too fond of anyone, he had a fondness for poob, and did not like gnarpy at all. the stuck up attitude ticked him off beyond belief.
"shove off. あなたには権利がありません。" he hissed, mandibles chittering loudly. one of his lower arms grabbed poob on the shoulder, frustrated, digging his claws into the fabric.
"a GNARPIAN ZUPERIOR like ME doeznt argue with EARTHLINGZ. pathetic. the BOTH OF YOU!" xe scoffed simply ignoring the duo now.
poob reaches for pests hand, slightly trying to pry it off their hoodie, and thats when he noticed he was about to basically tear off the sleeve of the poor partygoer. pest slumped onto the floor next to them and pulled poob into his lap, making them gasp a little in surprise. pest wrapped his arms around them and buried his face into their neck, keeping them tight against himself.
they just giggled and reached back to slightly pet the beetles messy hair, who was just seething and basically digging his mandibles into poob, was now purring and relaxed with the smaller one in his arms. poob really thought he was like a cat more than gnarpy, it was weird. guess cause xe was an alien not a cat, but pest is a beetle not a cat? well, he can be cute too, like a cat.
