Jennie's POV

"Kim Vantae, stop running around! Mummy is going to spank you!" I yelled at the three-year old as I chased after him with a bowl of his dinner.

He continued to run as fast as his little legs could carry him and I nearly managed to grab him but I ended up tripping over the dining table.

I watched with horror as the bowl flew up and dropped to the ground. The contents were spilled all over the floor and I turned more frustrated.

Vantae was standing at the corner, quietly giggling at me and my predicament. I picked myself up and limped to him as I have managed to twist it in the midst of falling.

"Vantae, stop playing around. Mummy is hurt, did you see?" I pointed to me already swelling ankle. His eyes turned misty and his lips quivered. "Mummy, I am sorry." "Oh, my baby, I am not angry. But please finish your dinner first next time before you play, alright?"

He nodded and I sighed before sending him up to his room so I could clean the mess.

Just then, I heard the door opened. He was about to announce his arrival back to home when he saw me limping around, trying to clear the mess.

"Oh my god baby, are you alright? What happened?" his voice laced with worry. I told him what happened and he was very angry at Vantae. He was about to go up and spank Vantae but I stopped him.

"He is just a child." Taehyung sighed and then offered to clean up the mess.

He helped me to the couch and gave me an ice pack before cleaning up.

I admired at him as he was cleaning up. He did not change over the last few years. He has honestly, turned more muscular and more handsome.

He must have sense that I am staring at him because he smirked at me and said "See what you like?" I blushed and turned away. He chuckled and continued to clean up.

After marrying for two years, I have given myself to Taehyung because I trusted him completely and has managed to let go of the past. But we have decided to have a child after college instead and we have Vantae at the age of 23. I would visit Aunt Mary and she finally accepted my visitation. The first time she saw me, she broke down into tears and apologised to me. In the end, we were both in tears, tears of joy.

I could not ask for a better ending.

Taehyung's POV

I have taken over my father's company after I have graduated from college. You might wonder that I am new to business management but I have already started to learn the ropes after I have graduated from high school so I am quite confident in managing the company as good as my father or even better.

I still loved Jennie as much or even more. She has given herself to me six years ago when we were at age twenty and has given me Vantae at age 23. I could not ask for anything better except for maybe another child. I smirked to myself as the thought of another child excited me while I was cleaning up the mess.

However, no matter what, I will continue to protect my family but most importantly, to protect Jennie, the love of my life.
