a pottery wheel

you emit every vibrant color I see,
the petals falling across the street.
knowing you was a sense of serendipity,
the mural paintings on my city.

I send a ring to you in any way,
I wait 'till you have something to say.
the sky darkened in my sight.
did the silence help you hear it at night?

the jars I created felt heavier,
the layers thickened every summer,
the gloves I used felt warmer.
will that be able to melt our barrier?

it might aswell just be an illusion.
was my love just confusion?
I still have nothing to answer,
for this heart that can't surrender.
