Elena knew she was being self-destructive, in a sense.
She knew, which was what made it more fun. For her.
Matt and Nick were taking pictures over by a tree, with Matt being the one in front of the camera. Chris was to the left side of Nick, helping the middle brother try to find where to stand. On Nick's right side, though, was Nate and Elena whispering to themselves was they stood little behind the brothers. The snickering continued until Elena was actually giggling, evolving into small cackles that she tried to conceal with a hand over her mouth.
"What's so funny? I wanna laugh, too," Chris asked, faking the fascination that laced through his voice.
Elena poked her head over Nate's shoulder to look at Chris, "did you say something?"
Upon the sight of Chris's jaw, once again, clenched as he tried to ignore the irritation bubbling up in his belly, Elena tried to hide and suppress the smile that threatened to break out on her face.
