Nine days until I'm toast.
I open my eyes.
I knew it, yesterday was no dream.
I'm in the Demon House.
Anyway, when did I make it to bed?
"Good morning everyone. Breakfast is ready."
Pop - "Hey, Jeff made us breakfast!"
W - "I love the smell of Pattaya fried rice early morning."
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
K - "Somebody has a lot of energy early morning."
"Ekkk...."
That scared me. I thought a ghost was lurking around. But it was just...a demon lurking.
A - "What's this? You made breakfast too?"
"I did..."
A - "I don't remember a command for this."
"I was hungry so I thought while I was at it..."
A - "Hmmm."
"Do you not want any Alan?"
A - "I didn't say I wouldn't eat it."
So he'll have some then....
Pete - "You're pretty handy aren't you? You wanna be my boy?"
Pete grips my shoulders tightly.
A - "Don't be an idiot Pete."
P - "Yeah yeah. The prince must have orders in his house."
Alan threw him a steely look.
A - "This human is a toast in nine days. There's no need to get overly involved."
"..."
He didn't need to put it that way...
Alan is really a cold guy, isn't he?
"Great, thanks to you I have to head to work thirty mins early."
Alan said out unhappily. "Do you always have to leave for work this early?"
"I thought I'd settle some personal matters. Seeing as I'll disappear from this world in nine days."
Alan....
Alan's not toasting me because he wants to.
I understand it's a predetermined fate.
But still......
Alan straightened his tie,"Yeah and those nine days that I gave you. Consider yourself lucky."
Cold as always...
Alan doesn't care a bit about what will happen to me...
"Jeff...."
"Winner!"
"How was your date yesterday Alan?"
"..."
So everyone thought we were on a real date yesterday.
"It was good. I had an incredible time of my life."
Ehhhh...he did??
Alan puts his arm around my waist.
"He was like a fox last night. So fired up," Alan smiled as he looked at me.
Me? A what? A fox?
"What are you talking about?"
Winner got excited. "Wow! Oh my god! You both have gone that far already?"
