Avantika POV:

Avantika's morning started with the blaring of her alarm, a relentless reminder that another day had begun. With a groan, she silenced the noise and reluctantly peeled herself out of bed. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she stumbled towards the bathroom, the cool floor beneath her feet providing a rude awakening.

As she washed her face, Avantika's mind began to stir with thoughts of the day ahead. She had an early meeting at the office, followed by a daunting list of deadlines. But amidst the chaos of her busy schedule, there was a glimmer of excitement. Today was the day of the annual office bake-off, and Avantika had spent the past week perfecting her signature chocolate chip cookies.

With a determined gleam in her eye, Avantika quickly showered and dressed, her mind already racing ahead to the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked cookies filling the office. But disaster struck as she made her way to the kitchen. The bag of flour slipped from her grasp, erupting into a cloud of white powder that covered every surface in sight.

Avantika stared at the mess before her, her heart sinking as she realized there was no time to start over. With a heavy sigh, she set to work cleaning up the floury disaster, cursing her clumsiness under her breath. But even as frustration threatened to bubble over, a soft chuckle from the doorway caught her attention.

It was her roommate, Riya, grinning from ear to ear as she surveyed the scene before her. "Looks like you could use a hand," she said, grabbing a dish towel and joining Avantika in the cleanup effort.

Together, they worked in tandem, laughing and joking as they scrubbed away the evidence of Avantika's baking mishap. In that moment, surrounded by flour and laughter, Avantika felt a surge of gratitude for Riya's unwavering friendship.

With the mess finally cleaned up and a fresh batch of cookies hastily thrown together, Avantika and Riya set off for the office, ready to face whatever the day had in store. Little did they know, an unexpected encounter awaited them—one that would change the course of Avantika's life in ways she never could have imagined.

Riya POV:

Riya's morning began with the sound of Avantika's alarm, a familiar signal that it was time to start the day. With a yawn, she rolled over in bed, stretching her limbs as she tried to shake off the last remnants of sleep. Sitting up, she glanced at the clock and groaned. Another early start awaited her, but she knew she couldn't afford to linger in bed any longer.

Dragging herself out of bed, Riya shuffled towards the kitchen, where the smell of freshly brewed coffee greeted her like an old friend. She poured herself a mug, relishing the warmth as it seeped into her chilled bones.

Just as Riya was about to take her first sip, Avantika burst into the kitchen, a flurry of activity and flour dust trailing behind her. Riya couldn't help but chuckle at the sight, shaking her head in mock exasperation.

"Looks like someone had a bit of a mishap," she teased, grabbing a dish towel and joining Avantika in the cleanup effort.

Together, they worked side by side, swapping stories and sharing laughter as they tackled the mess before them. Riya couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these—simple, everyday moments of camaraderie and friendship.

With the mess finally cleaned up and a fresh batch of cookies in tow, Riya and Avantika set off for the office, their spirits lifted despite the morning's mishap. Little did they know, an unexpected adventure awaited them—one that would test their friendship and leave them with memories to laugh about for years to come.
